yeah... all these powerful processor, for most of the people, it's just underutilise...
hope manufacturer could start focusing more on battery life instead. i think the battery technology is seriously lagging behind the processing power needed

the koreans will never do that.

they are not able to put a fancy name to a longer lasting battery.
then it will also not appeal to many ppl.

secondly, the geeks/nerds are only looking for proc speed, number of cores and ram size.
if u increase any one of those, the nerds will be excited. increase all 3 and they will get orgasm.
many ppl refer to the resident geek for advice abt what phone to buy.
so seducing the geeks/nerds is important.

lastly, battery life is not much of a concerned. just buy yoobao or equivalent. cool2.gif

Some people buying high end stuffs not just because they want to maximize the usage.

Some just love the benchmark scores, the lagless feel of high end stuffs, shorter time on loading on apps/software. biggrin.gif

I got a good laugh when some blogs mentioned that this is going to be the most powerful one ever with Octa-Cores!

It is hard to guess either s4 will be equipped with octa core or not. The reason they announced it at CES maybe because they want people to wait for the s4 announcement rather than going for other android OEM's flagship. They totally have guess that their competitor will show their own flagship before the anticipated s4. Everybody guesses.

Btw,I hope it will be like this

At least Snapdragon 600 or Exynos 5 Quad with 32-bit dual-channel 800 MHz LPDDR3 (15 GB/sec)
At least ARM Mali-T678
At least 3000mah removable battery
At least Android 4.2.1
Stereo speaker
Notification LED
Dedicated camera button
Splash proof

And most importantly, no more cheap plastic and 150-days-auto-shutdown bug.
Damn, I really hate Exynos chipset.
