Sakai... Samsung Galaxy S plus And SII plus la

The funny thing is why only sue samsung on design & UI but not HTC, sony, LG phone... the latest HTC one look very similar with Iphone round corner..

We can see most UI & icon in htc, sony, lg look exactly with samsung phone just diff arrangements. Why Apple didn't sue them.... simple coz they not innovative as samsung, last Apple desperate move was a day before S4 launching even... Try google it, very shame when big Co. like Apple talking about competitors products rather than own product in in whole day of events. Make an big event just to condemned Android & Samsung products... Why Apple so desperate to push google/android to release Andriod Key lime pie as soon as possible??????

Design is of course important too. Gotta say I'm a little disappointed myself. Was hoping the leak wasn't true before it was officially unveiled. However to say that it's exactly like s3 is a wrong assertion. There are changes no matter how minute it is.

Can I ask you one simple question? Even if Samsung does fail in achieving their desired sales, how would you know that it is due to the design?

It could be due to a variable of reasons or a combination of some.

Are you for real? Just to name a few, please tell us does Apple have the Smart Stay, Scroll and Pause? I am not being bias either way as I own both Apple and Samsung products but when someone simply makes silly(and I am being humdrum here) statements, I cannot but put him in his place. If you have nothing constructive to say, it's better to keep your mouth shut.

Because the complaints are legitimate. Apple are suing Samsung for something so minor like a phone having the square-ish with rounded corner design. It's as if Apple has nothing left in their armoury to use against Samsung, so they take it to the courts instead.

And mind you, the only time Apple won a lawsuit against Samsung was in the legal jurisdiction of the United States. Outside of the US jurisdiction, all of their lawsuits against Samsung has failed and the judges have awarded Samsung with the win instead and in some cases even forced Apple to apologize publicly ( on their website and in newspapers ) for every claiming that Samsung copies anything.

It only 90% like S III but 99% like Note II.

Samsung didn't touch on design except change the texture pattern only.

This topic can easily be mistaken for Samsung bashing instead of S4 discussion. I don't really care about the material they use to house S4. It's just the design that disappoints me. Like others been saying, was hoping for a new and better look. HTC One looks much better.

However, I'm looking beyond aesthetic and would rather have better supports and features. SD Card, removable battery and faster updates are still my most important criterias in choosing my next phone. I would have considered the One but it lacks things I want.

When Key Lime Pie is ready, I believe Samsung will not let their customers down. They will be among the firsts to get a taste of the new version of Android. Software vs design? Software it is for me. But too ugly phone I also don want la

By the way, how do you come out with the figures? Nvm, back to your figures. If it's 99% note 2 like and 90% S3-like, doesn't that imply that it's a new class on its own since it's a hybrid? For all we know, Note 2 is a phablet.

s4 design is a big disappointment for me...i think i will stick to lumia 920

That's because S3 is similar to Note 2 too. You seriously add them up??

let's see. today's newspaper got s3, s3 mini, Samsung La'fleur (everyday) and tab every other day I think but Xperia Z? one page yesterday, today tak ada...not inclusive of buntings, billboards and TV.

so...

It similar with S III but not exactly as the side and curve and button and front camera and sensor placement.

All above was exactly same as Note II. The only different was surface texture design and back flash placement.

Note II people call phabet because screen size big, this has nothing to do with design.
