My car now 28,000 KM already still using my Atlantis V7. Never had problems with the grip. Only the damn noise is irritating  mad.gif And I can say, these tyres are damn lasting. Till now hardly see any thread wear  icon_question.gif no reason for me to change yet  cry.gif

I installed anti-roll bar and front top strut bar. Never feared going into a corners fast with ESP around to protect me tongue.gif Never really encountered rapid stop though. Not like Ah bear, I dun like cucuk ppl's backside one  rolleyes.gif

no lah I didn't tail gate people normally, Silverstone just never stops reassuringly in event of emergency.

Using Silverstone.. ? even u change ur brake pads for better stopping power, your stock tires lagi cannot grip on the tarmac and slips/skids even more easily  eventhough ABS and BA system kicks in which makes the system harder to control the tire grip..

better grip and quality tires makes the safety stopping and traction feature ABS, BA, ESP does their work more effectively..

now u make me "..." to drive over 120.... hmm.gif

been 3 times i follow really close...the front vehicles's tyre burst....i did brake...but not hard breaking...my conciousness say, soft brake is better than hard brake..and the Silverstone do their job very well imo...

you have to judge yourself not to applied the brakes too hard to avoid slipping tires. Difficult to predict sometimes Brake Assist helps you boost on brakes, and u will heard "keeek" sound, a sign of loosing road traction n causing stopping distance more further. Well based on your mentioned situation, the vehicle in front tires burst but it is forward moving objects so u could still have time to make wise decision to control your car n high chances of successfully escape from any trouble n accident. Imagine if you're in a residential area at 40kmph a dog or worse of all a child running across the road in front of u within just a meter distance from your car.. ?

Agreed that the weight of the car (inclusive of stock rims) will get the momentum going...but if you noticed, it takes quite a distance for the Forte to come to a full stop!

My first impression during my first highway run back to hometown was, "Wah, cannot simply tailgate cars on the highway already coz it's quite difficult to put the Forte to a stop in the event of an emergency situation."

IMHO, my first mod will most prolly be better brake pads first (besides changing the tyres once they wear out).
*
YOU ARE ABSOLOUTELY RIGHT!!! very difficult to brake last time.

I tell you, change to lighter rim, that will improve braking and accelerating ... That works for me. Now I am getting easier to tailgate front car now. tongue.gif

our car has already installed with immobilizer, it would be very difficult to steal it unless by towing.. correct me if im wrong..
my sa said that, even the korean engineers also dunno how to jump start the car without the smart key.. dunno if this is only sweet talk of my sa.. but all in all, our car has the immobilizer, it is good enough to me..

using locktech will be double security for those who still feel insecure on the car security.. no harm doing so.. just get the good locktech from thailand..
*
thumbup.gif

yup, don't get the concept wrong by thinking cars with immobilizer so we don't need extra lock

take a look at Hilux and camry , and think again

what is an immobilizer to those car theft

and nope, we are not saying that a pedal lock is theft proof, but think again, if you were given a choice, considering that forte are everywhere these days, would you rather steal a stock car with stock alarm , or forte with a pedal lock installed

rolleyes.gif

and those planning to install Locktech icon_rolleyes.gif now promo Rm 340 only

call us 012 710 7917

is it a good idea to claim warranty for this issue? last week i called Kia SC Setapak because i wanted to set appointment and claim warranty for my foggy left headlights but still no follow up from them when i can come there. i already gave my plat no., my contact numbers, description etc to them.
