EPF opposes Felda Global Venture’s Indonesian deal.

EPF questioned the rationale behind the RM2.55 billion purchase, particularly the generous premium accorded to the deal.

With ISA in the board, salam songlap whistling.gif
And if you don't know about share market, do watch Hong Kong drama "the greed of man". While it does not really teach you how to gamble, but it o tell you that, major share holders will normally do something "stupid" to make the price crash and then buy it for cheap.

Good to see some professional integrity in EPF. Get out when one does not agree with what they are doing (reported that EPF was asking why the high premium in FGV's deal).

Hope to see more of this professionalism, not just in EPF but also other companies especially the GLC.

Cheerio.

yeah hope others funds also be vocal when in AGM.. juz not go attend, vote blindly & eat free food shakehead.gif

maybe EPF management feels the "pressure" coming from public asking for more transparency, that's why more vocal

and EPF still have some shares in FGV, but not 5% like before they sold 8mil shares

i cleared my Ac 2 three years ago st 50 years old. Plunked it into Singapore REITs giving more than 8 % yields.

Didn't regret

Based on my rough calculation, you've about RM100K in Account 2 of EPF at an age of 28 year old.
