No need to have 2. I dont even bother counting my EPF. But I do everything that I can to maximise the returns I get without me putting in an extra sen. I don't take low value for an answer especially when I know I can do something about it.
If there is nothing I can do. Fine.
I already run my number. Must be 2x what I am earning today.
Actually i like people telling me I am wrong. I wouldn't be where I am today if someone didn't point out my mistakes. I was a pure die hard amanah saham fixed price guy. I was like you. Defended amanah saham every time some one criticise it.
Someone came along showed me the way. That's how I opened my eyes and realised what a fool I am.
No harsh words towards you but just my own experiences. I was so stupid back then.
Someone told me the same thing. Your money. Not my money. Do what you think is best for your money, your future purchasing power and your family future money. These exact words stuck with me until today. Can't really remember the exact words but more or less the same thing.
Anyway peace.
I am not saying you are wrong investing your money the way you want
What I am pointing out is, the objective of EPF is not to make you rich but to help Malaysians in our retirement days
To maximise return there is a risk and can EPF take the risk and giving out volatile returns YoY? Like -10% during COVID and +10% when booming?
Hence, I do not agree when you were always telling every Tom, Dick and Harry that EPF is useeless invest elsewhere
That is all I am trying to tell, you don't know who else are reading especially newbies just wallup because RAMJADE said MYR no future EPF sux
Yes it is their fault for not doing detail research before their own decision but I think I can try help painting a more complete picture rather than just telling them EPF can't help
