sifus, can I know when usually EPF will declare the dividend beginning of the year like Jan or feb? and wana ask you if lets say Gov declare dividend on early Jan and update the dividend on end Jan. if i take out some portion of money after the declaration of the dividend but before they update the system...will I get the dividend base on the value i had in my epf akaun when declaration or when they update the systems?

Nowadays all computerized system. takes few days only

I take 4.5%, anything above that considered as bonus. Been walked through 90's financial crisis where the dividend still good. But that's because we don't have donations.

End of EPF financial year is Dec 15, right?
After a month of no crunching, they will release the 2015 dividend rate in Feb 2016.
