Anybody has used Titanium card to pay insurance premium and get 1% rebate?

Now that TNB bills can all go to Amex, i want to push my insurance premium to OCBC for 1% rebate.
*
1% for my GE insurance.
1% is the minimum rebate, so if any of the transactions doesn't fall into 5% will get auto 1%.

You should complain to Maybank and get a refund. The IBG transaction should only be charged 10sen
*
I better clarify first before complaining. laugh.gif

QUOTE(ronnie @ May 3 2013, 08:08 AM)
What account type do you have with Maybank ?
Please check the transaction date/time.
*
Good question. I have normal savings account and M2U saver account.
For this particular transaction, I used my M2U saver account because I thought it is the same and not necessary to transfer to my savings account and pay to OCBC?

From my understanding, if you refer to Bank Negara statement, it should applies to all IBG regardless of the type of account. I stand to be corrected though.

Thanks, if that's the case I will need to call Maybank for this matter. I purposely waited till 2nd May to pay and didn't pay on 1st May but they still charged me RM 2. sweat.gif
hmm.gif Need to check in my M2U if it records this service charge somewhere.

Hi fruitie,
I pay my ocbc cc on 2nd May 7:30am via maybank2u. RM0.10 was charged.

The difference is I pay from my MBB Basic Saving Account (BSA).
I was deciding to pay from m2u Saver or BSA, and decided from BSA. Kiasu...  tongue.gif

Suggest you to call MBB to ask and share the outcome here. (As I wish to know this as well.  tongue.gif )
*
Sorry guys, was too busy last night and forgot to make a call.
I just called Maybank and they confirmed the RM 0.10 charge is the same for all types of accounts, so doesn't make any difference if it is M2U Saver or not.
They also acknowledged that there was a system glitch in their system where some customers were still charged at RM 2.00 and they will refund the difference within the week.
Apparently for mine it is already refunded, I called without checking my Maybank2U. blush.gif
Just checked it was refunded to me the next day. smile.gif

Time flies, got my OCBC Ti for a year already and just saw the GST has charged to my card.

Not sure I should feel delighted or not, I got the annual bonus RM 50, probably I have spent at least RM 10k in the past 1 year. sweat.gif
So for this year, my GST is absorbed by OCBC. thumbup.gif

will be auto waive? or need to call for the waiver?
*
Will be auto waived. I don't see this at all in my bill.
In fact my GST was also absorbed for this year because I have spent more than RM 10k.
If your annual usage is at least RM 10k, your GST will be waived as well. smile.gif
I didn't know I have spent so much over the year. sweat.gif

for other cards (HSBC) there will be "Total Credit Used for This Year" which come with the Dec bill. but so bad, HSBC didnt waive the GST even my usage is > 25k/year and the annual fee also appear in my statement. so, i think is time to chg to this card
*
Well, if the bank doesn't offer you this type of waiver, it will not be waived.
For OCBC Ti, it is on their web and T&C that they will waive annual fees if you swipe at least 12 times a year and GST will be waived if you spend RM 10k and above.

I don't own any HSBC card before, but if it clearly shows that there is no waiver, then you won't get it. smile.gif

I think yes because I didn't hear from them and only I got to know my application was rejected. doh.gif
You can call this number: 1300 88 5000 (8am-10pm)
Use the self-service menu and once you key in your I.C. no., you will be able to know the status of your application.

On the first post, there is an appeal letter, you may use that sample. Courtesy tifosi.
This card has rejected too many of us, until an appeal letter needs to be attached on this thread. laugh.gif

I'm not sure if they still accept appeal these days, I hope yes, else you have to reapply again. sweat.gif
