That stupid Canon Software has just frozen my Mac with Marvericks. So in the midst of searching the problem i found out that Marvericks is not yet supported.
![]() So i removed all that four canon softwares with cleanmymac and reboot, then i found out that Mac can detect SX50hs natively without any driver or software from canon. So good riddance! Tested with iPhoto, PhotoShop CC & Lightroom 5, they all read the camera without any canon softwares:- ![]() ![]() ![]() So dont bother to install any canon driver / softwares if you buy any powershot camera cause your computer can read the camera just fine. |

QUOTE(rayzrblade @ Nov 13 2013, 04:57 PM) Oh.. Means original pics won't look like that huh? There are a lot of pixel peepers in this forum, they themselves edit their photo before post it here regardless how good their camera is. Post Processing is part of photography, it's no camera competition but rather how creative one produces a photograph which include the composition, colour, dof, sharpness etc as one piece of art work.Needs a bit of ps magic... I like it to look natural.. Hehe Lol i cant believe i just said that. Anyway SX50HS won Best Superzoom Camera Award of 2013 http://cameras.reviewed.com/features/2013-...r-camera-awards ![]() |

One step at a time. I'm learning bout manual shots... So ps editing not my priority now. Hehe The more I look at those pics the more amateur I think I am. Love the super zoom. Took a pic of a star last night.. Haha |
