Canon Patent - Powershot with 100X Optical Zoom
Source: http://egami.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2013-12-20

Ok please put 1" sensor in it, wifi, gps, 3" Touchscreen & EVF with 960k resolution on both, star mode software and rechargeable without removing battery.

Wow 100X optical x 4 digital, Jupiter shot will look like the moon.

Make it happen Canon!

I don't see any problem on that except the sensor,1 inch will result in 2.5 crop mode and
it need a bigger lens in order to maintain that 100x zoom
but i do like them to put a manual zoom style lens biggrin.gif
