Hey guys, I'm thinking of buying the new 3ds. I wanted to buy the smaller one, but from what I've seen over the internet there has only been the xl counterpart. From what I know only the xl version is available in NA but the rest of the world will have the small one. Can anyone tell me where can I get them here in Malaysia and how much is the price? I've been dying to get it. Thanks in advance.

Even in Japan LL outsold regular size. So I guess NA used that to conclude that instead of producing 2 type, they focus on XL version only.
Ha.. I'm tempted to buy one too.. So far tahan diri by reminding that there might be new pokemon or fire emblem version for the new 3ds (or purple/green/white colour)

the reason of only XL version in NA i can think of is because of cost saving. Currently the only thing that can be use by old XL and new XL is the battery. I do prefer the 4 inch LCD. The size is just right for me. Easy to carry as well.

i go one store, US punya set rm999 without charger, better for me to wait for new batch of asia set. temptation ada sangat. but if 3 month warranty and no charger vs 1 year warranty with charger, better i go with latter

I can't find any shop here in Penang Island selling this set most of them said after chinese new year and its limited. Any suggestion from here... would be glad to lay my hands on the new 3ds XL...
I went to Lowyat Plaza a few days ago and they only sell the red xl version. I really wanted to buy the new 3ds asap but I prefer the black one. The red one looks like a cheap knock off to me :/ The price is 950, which is quite expensive tbh...
Btw, does anyone knows the pattern of eshop sales? Looking forward to buying some old games like Pokemon X/Y or Fire Emblem when a there's a huge price cut
Huhu ordered already new 3ds xl.. Hopefully arrive on Monday or something. Opting for black colour, red looks more like maroon colour, don't like.
