I thought of getting it on launch but then Fire Emblem If got announced and there are a lot of people literally begging Nintendo America to release the smaller new 3DS.. So yeah.. Going to wait.. It's not like I'm going to buy an exclusive or the normal size version.. Just.. for the sake of waiting

Hi, will it be possible to transfer games purchased on my current 3DS to the new 3DS?

Are the purchases tied to the account and will be downloadable later if I do buy a new 3ds?

Yea, your digital purchased item are tied to nnid account. The transfer process above will also transfer your nnid and all the digital games will be redownloadable later.

The only thing I don't like about exclusive is the game is pre-installed. I like boxes when it comes to console gaming.

Those that are trying to get the New 3ds XL can try contacting Digital Axis in Festival City Mall. I just got my mh4u edition console from there just now. Price for normal version is RM959 though.

That quite alright still. Got a friend at Tropicana City Mall just now bought his at RM1050+ from Game Brothers or something.

yeah, even the PO price for these new consoles are jacked up anyway. So extra RM60 for non-PO still reasonable for last minute buyers.
