Another option for you to update IOS6.1 is via iTunes and after completed..reJB..

i think the only thing that we need to worry is that the weather app will not be functioning. thats all.

so far all i know, based on the reading here and also several other websites

1. OTA, restore and update from itunes from previous version of iOS to latest will be good to go

2. weather app will not work, but evader team are working hard and will release the fix soon via Cydia.

3. all cydia, other jailbreak tweaks, apps, etc are working like a charm (except that there are several that is not up to date to the latest 6.1 version yet. give them some time.

so if you ask me, just update to the latest ios and jailbreak. nothing to worry about.

Got another bug in the messaging app.

Noticed after installing back my BiteSMS. there is a black part at the bottom part of the conversation. when u expand the keyboard then it'll cover up the black part.

Auxo is damn impressive useful and looks great. no need to install SBSettings

any thoughts on Zephyr? I wonder if the swipe left/right feature will interfere with apps actually using those gestures (e.g. Facebook).

also, any comments on AirBlue?

It is impressive but sometimes it won't be able to display the thumbnail properly. For eg sometimes it's just a blank page of my whatsapp, but sometimes it'll show the chats that are ongoing..

Yes, I kena the black page as well. Very annoying, I've disabled the swipe left/right option.
Just use the swipe up/down one, which is already a very handy feature by itself.

unlocking can only be done software wise on devices that has the eligible baseband. As far as I know, only 3Gs and iPhone 4 on some baseband can be unlocked via software side. No iPhone 4s or iPhone 5 can be unlocked.

there is an update for bitesms already in Cydia.
