Hye the biggest difference between the D5200 and D7000 is just the D5200 do not have internal autofocus motors right ? mean that if in future i plan to buy another lenses i have to get the lens with the internal autofocus motors right? will the lens expensive much with the lens that do not build-in autofocus motors ? do D5200 for you also consider as beginner level camera ? but as i read from some articles D5200 also can consider medium-range level camera as there only difference in the autofocus motors right ? lets say that if i buy the lens with the internal autofocus motors for D5200 so it's totally no difference with D7000 huh ? why do you say if i plan to buy a camera i wish to use for a long time D5200 and a best choice but D7000 did ? any else that difference for the both camera ? like control button ? control button be a important factors too ? why

Currently i am planning to get the 70300 nikon with VR. combined budget for D90 + 70300 would be around RM3600 which is quite way over my initial budget of rm2.5k.

Is the D90 slow? i remembered a few years ago a friend of mine with a D90 managed to get some pretty impressive pics although of course, skills play a big part in it. The D90 used to be a high end body right? Struggling to control my budget at the moment..

D7000 have more "button" compare to D5200. some function if you get familar with D7000 then you will find D5200 is very troublesome to change setting. lets say you put "A" file in side of the folder of the foulder bla bla while D7000 you just access it from desktop only. how convenient is it?

D7000 dont have swivel screen.
D5200 dont have internal focus motor, so the lenses you can use is labeled AF/AF-S which usually is label with G... nah no need worry about that because it is like many lens is G version already. it is consider expensive than older version of course but worth the money.

guys, if i need to photograph a group of people, let's say around 20-30 people, is there any safe aperture i should go with? sigh, tomorrow got company event, and my boss pick me to take pic. i only have kitlens. LOL. no speedlite nothing.

to save ur ass abit...do the shoot outdoors in nice morning sun...cos afternoon sure rain.
but if its indoors, with no good lights, glhf go find a new job 

just use SIII or iphone 5, should sufficient enough

Ive photographed a group of 100 people before with flash haha my puny flash really can't light everyone

Aperture depends on how many rows are they positioned! You'll definitely do fine with f8-11 sharpest point of most lenses.. if iso is to high due to small aperture no choice but to shoot lower maybe f5.6

Btw dont shoot at the wide end because people do not like distorted pictures

Just sharing my experience

kit lens is good. As you will be shooting at large f's. I shot 230pax w/o additional lighting in conference hall before. for 20-30 pax, I'd think 5.6-8 would keep everyone sharp. and outdoors would be ur best bet.
