good deal? because juz missed a deal which is 9/10 pristine outlook good condition for 1050 >< hmm.. i see others normally oso 1100~1150... juz abit gold wording resale value will be about eh same rite? ( extreme care in preserving )
*
ya, most used ones i see rm1.1k or so...even then also hardly ppl sell.
rm1k already good...gold wording only if u fussy la...but later u want to sell off at rm1k also no prob.

hmm.. what about selling off when its without receipt and box? he's offering just the lens and hood and filter... box and receipt warranty card all dont have wor... will that be a problem now/future?
*
i always suspect ppl who sell lenses basically by itself only.
considering the 85mm 1.8G only came out in malaysia about 6-7 months ago...there is no real reason to *lose* everything else.

hmm.. means resale value will be there still even without receipt la?
btw checked with the nikon centre.. the serial number not in record, means this grey lens / from other country... not repaired before... without receipt and warranty card also can get repairing from nikon service centre Malaysia...
but from his profile... saw him selling a D3000 with box oso lah, and a wide angle tolkina...
*
and that probably explains why got no box etc...
sure can repair...but like i said...the lens barely 6-7 months in malaysia...means any other used one u find will have warranty remaining still.
so why pay for any repair when can claim warranty?

Just warranty card no receipt can be sent for repair I think. Since I sent my camera for cleaning, I always send with warranty card only.

No record in Nikon Centre not sure if its Grey lens wo, it just proves its not been sent for service/repair before. And since Nikon covers international warranty for its lenses, so hmm.gif
*
international warranty only applies if got receipt proving that u bought it at the authorised dealer in that country as stamped in the warranty card.

Does Nikon D5100 have the Exposure Preview Mode like in Canon's liveview where varying the aperture, shutter and ISO can show the expected exposure outcome of the image?

In live view, the D5100 AF assist lamp doesnt work, this is quite bad, although the camera bumped up the ISO to assist in Live View, but the AF Assist Lamp just won't ignite so it is difficult to autofocus in low light during live view

Does these problems happen with the Nikon D600?
*
afaik, only d800 got the live exposure preview...and nikon apparently are suppose to release a fix to get rid of it.
live view, i dont think any of the models got the assist lamp come on.

I'm using a d5100 and my fav lens is my 35mm f1.8, just wondering can this lens be use with a x2 Nikon teleconvertor?
*
i dont think any short lenses can be used with tc, even if it could it makes no sense at all to use it.
just take 2-3 steps forward...

afaik that setup will not work.
better just to use su-4 mode on the flash and trigger by built in flash...of cos that means manual settings...same if u use external triggers anyway and which u will need 1 transceiver on body and 3 receivers on flashes.

i thought D800 is weather sealed? hmm.gif
*
not fully.
flash hot shoe exposed, if use grip...then batt connector also can have moisture go in.
thats why the pro ones got special covers for hotshoe, and grip built in.

Ho ho... ok I got the 50mm part right at least  laugh.gif aperture salah though T_T

Let's see sensor betul or wrong, but should be FF cause crop sensor won't have the teardrop bokeh shape on the edges.
*
im curious, why the teardrop bokeh only FF?
bokeh is a feature of the lens right...
sensor size only determines the DoF.
