Yes what the hell happened to this project? safety? Land issue?? Somehow all the stakeholder have been able to keep the issues with this project quiet? What's going on? I mean it's Ekovest project..not some small developer...looks abandoned... hope someone on the inside can share...it's quickly becoming an eyesore.. and quite sad looking tbh...

Not sure if the 'extreme' cost cutting measures Ekovest did to EkoCheras was any indication that its property arm isn't doing to well financially?

I do recall that the sales response for both the former and this project wasn't that good when I passed by its booth in a property roadshow at MidValley a year back.

This project still remains a mystery....what's scary is that is a fairly large developer and it has been complete radio silence. There aren't even leaks about why this project was halted/abandoned which is remarkable in this day and age.

I do believe it will eventually continue as other parts of the ROL project appears to be progressing but dunno how long it would take.

Looks like the main contractor has withdrawn from the site; could mean developer lack cash flow to continue. high risks to become a abandoned project.

This project is one of the biggest mysteries in Klang Valley. Usually, if project abandon or halted, somehow the reason or other facts will come out somewhere on why it was halted and what is the plan. But this project manage to stay silent. So far nobody in this forum or other channels manage to find any dirt on why this project stop. No buyer or stakeholder has talked about this so far.

The Ekovest HQ in Setapak has also closed off their gallery. The last time i was allowed access on Nov 2018, the Staff there told me 'project ongoing' and they didn't wana say more.

I really got to 'clap hands' to Ekovest for managing to control information from the public. Probably the buyers are getting compensation and have been told not to reveal anything to the public. The weird thing is, other projects under Ekovest such as infra etc seem to be progressing smoothly so I do not think its a cashflow issue.

Any purchaser for this project here?

Super overpriced project at 900-1k psf. Initially I thought upon VP can drop 40-50%.

Now looks like this may not even complete.

If no VP where do u get your LAD?

Yeap! It won't be completed now. Hence, litigation.

Still begs the question: How do you know that it won't VP?

Internally already informed. So what else to wait for?

A quick search in Google didn't come up with such news. But since you mentioned that this news is circulated internally, I'd bet by now there should be disgruntled buyers (both internally and externally) who would've filed a lawsuit and this will become public knowledge.

EkoCheras was VP'ed late and the LAD was paid accordingly to the earlier buyers. So far I don't remember coming across an article or two where a group of buyers threatened a lawsuit against them prior to its completion (or even after).

Developer is cautious in dealing with the purchasers now but even compensation has been delayed. That doesn't leave the purchasers with any choice since the 10% + 10% has been paid.

If VPed then the lad will be given accordingly so don't think will have any lawsuit involved. This is a while different story.

Hence, checking if there's any purchasers here facing the same problem. We have done our first step for litigation.
