Good evening user
Here's a few question which came to me upon considering ..
As for the Wifi set , would I be able to use my iPhone as hotspot and the tablet detect it , so that I can uses my data plan ?  smile.gif
Second that , what's the usable storage space for 16gb smile.gif ?
And the core question which bug me for as long as my consideration is , any news on replacement tablet for n7 as this isn't new anymore smile.gif

Yes you can use your iPhone as hotspot and connect your Nexus 7 to it.
Around 13.xxGB if not mistaken, recommend to get the 32GB.
No news for the new N7 for now but only rumors, you can expect after July when the new N7 reaches here.

You must be on stock ROM without any system apps removed or disabled n stock kernel
Just flash the update zip using any recovery ( cwm or tarp). This update so far available for wifi only model

Benchmark is in my bottom list of choice. Not interested in benchmark but more in stability and reliability

My present rom is carbon v1.0 and move to it from aokp ( stephen spear).

does the supplier helps to do rooting service? i hate to do the command prompt as im a noob. what is the benefit of rooting in Google nexus. I knew for now that people root Kindle to get to it's ecosystem of amazon libraries. what about google play? the apps are free right , for Google nexus tablet.?

Use nexus 7 toolkit
No need to issue command from terminal
Just a simple click n select process unbelievably freaking easy

i been trying to root kindle fire hd for days with software and reading the instructions in XDA but still don't understand how it works. thinking of nexus if it's easy a lot than kindle fire hd.

Different devices have different methods of rooting. As benny has already given, the link clearly explains it all for Nexus 7.

Busy box is needed only for certain operations in say titanium backup
No harm installing it

What zip file did you download
The correct file is around 46mb only
Not recommended to remove any system apk

Normally kernel will match new firmware n is often change to match a new build
You can always try to flash. Worse you get a fail flash if incompatible. Always read kernel developer specs before flashing
For minor firmware upgrade normally is OK. Example I flash Franco 46 on latest 4.2.2 without any problems
