can i install both twrp and cwm on n7?

first time user of twrp, not all zip files can install with twrp right? i see some fda forum specify to use cwm, some day twrp, and some didn't mention. i tried install a couple battery mod with twrp but they don't work.

I'm trying to install the Battery Universal VRThemes and the installation method is:

"Before flashing a Battery Universal VRTheme over any Stock 4.2.1 JOP40D, Stock 4.2 JOP40C or SmoothROM 4.2.1 JOP40D Base Battery VRTheme, you should delete the drawable-sw720dp-hdpi folder from the Battery Universal VRTheme first. This folder can be found in the zip at:
vrtheme/system/app/SystemUI.apk/res/drawable-sw720dp-hdpi"

I'm on 4.2.1 stock JOP40D, but I can find only vrtheme-backup inside sdcard, if I follow the folder path, I do find the folder "drawable-sw720dp-hdpi" but I can't delete it. Click and hold brings no other option (to delete) except just open the folder. Some help please. Thank you.

Oh... I'm using Root Browser and Root Explorer.

good morning uncle benny. Thanks for the tips. I believe I have done it before on another device, changing the ro - rw thingy and then edit away. But I have forgotten how. I read your suggestions at 9am but til now I still couldn't get it until now. I have downloaded a lot or root explorers or root browsers. None I see where I can click on the rw thingy as you suggested. I am rooted and gave supersu permission to all the explorers, browsers. Attached is 2 of my screenshots.

I discovered fake yoobao with legit 20 digit serial code. What they do is they replace the batteries inside. Example:

Using SmoothRom v4.4 and downloaded free Rye Studios kids story books. But when I play the story book app, no sound comes out. After that, whether it is a movie, another app, a game.... all the apps also don't have any sound. I need to restart in order to get the sound back with movies and other apps. This is software or hardware issue?

I try it because it shows very high benchmark score. Which roms would be at the top of your list? Could you kindly please share? Thank you.

uncle benny, I've flashed carbon rom and now I can play rye studios story books with sound. other apps still downloading and not yet try. well, at least better than smoothrom. would try cleanrom after this.

one question: smoothrom came with busybox, carbon does not. now my google play is downloading it. do I need to install busybox on carbon rom?

If i'm using custom rom (carbon) then I have to wait for the custom update right?

No, you wont loose your files or settings

Using carbon rom. I received an notice via goomanager the rom has an update but when I click on the notice, it says server offline. Check xda website, there is only one rom 4.2.1. How weird.

I used TB to create an update.zip file but the apps gets transferred to my new rom but not the data. For example some Best Kid Songs app gets backup and transferred to new rom, but the individual songs downloaded from purchase doesn't get downloaded. But I do have my email setting and all... Other game datas also lost, need to start from level 1.

What case are you all using and why you like it? I'm using Nilkin TPU soft case and thinking of changing to iMak quicksand...

I'm using carbon rom, just found out that I can't switch on my bluetooth. From the Off sign I slide across to On but it just does not light up and the button goes back to Off. Any carbon rom uses with the same issue?
