Hi everyone, i m in deep trouble now.

My Nexus 7 was ROOTED....den just now it pop up the update...i ma update lo...den now it keep stay in the nexus "X" logo there when i restart....how to fix it T.T

usually after update takes quite a while to boot up. wait for about 5-10 minutes. if still stuck, go to recovery and try clearing cache and dalvik then try again, see if that helps.

its funny how people would want to use ur tablet as a phone to call

once rooted, OTA won't work. you have to relock bootloader to enable OTA, or.. u could just update latest version yourself

turn off and on ur N7, it will boot up but maybe it just takes a bit more time.

the situation now is...when i on it, it show google with unlocked status, den it enter the "X" logo...n it stuck there...i waited more than 10 minutes but it was same.

I entered recovery mood...but no use

i guessed u never see so many ppl using galaxy tab as phone...

in fact im using galaxy mega now... which is 6.3"
and the galaxy mega size is not much different than n7

recently sony oso launching 6.4" xperia ultra

i do notice it's kind of a thread now

luckily Nexus line of products still keeps their class like Apple products and not make awkwardly-large phones like samsung and sony did.. it's just ridiculous..

yup thats what phone used to look, thats why engineers makes phone more portable for convenience, it is also acceptable by people

now phone companies are going back in time and make phones large again.. like Samsung, essentially they make oversized phones to test the market, they are filthy rich and got the power to do that, so why not.

my limit would be at Note 2 (5.5"), any bigger is a joke to look at.

Note 2 happen to be big.. so..

You would not be able to update OTA if you are rooted. To fix your problem you have to flash stock 4.3 via recovery. You can download the flashable stock 4.3 here.

But then you will lose root, you can regain root by flashing this root fix SuperSU. Remember to update the binaries after you flash to regain root.

Hope this helps. Btw, you will not loose any of your previous data if you dont do a full wipe. Just do a dirty update.

Forgot to ask, are you on CWM or TWRP? If you one TWRP can try USB OTG to update your stock ROM.

No problem play FB video... just use Android stock video player.

izit nice to use matte?

im using matte on my phone cos i dont like oily screen.
but for nexus7, its ok since the screen quite big. if i apply matte, the screen wont sharp like before.

I got oily fingers so all of my phones are using matte. I just saw a Nexus 7 with clear screen protector and fingerprints are all over the place (when screen turn off can see). So I'm sticking with matte still. Just get a good one not those cheap stuffs..

The good one will be better. The cheap ones you can see the lights spreading all over like stars.. or something like that. Sharpness will decrease a bit but what to do it's matte

Hi all,previously my n7 was studied in the x logo after I updated to 4.3

Now I flashed 4.3 manually as I failed to even gone through the x logo.

After flashing,I lost all my data inside, but when I c my storage, it was still inside, but was in the category of 'misc'.

Any idea how to bring all back my data? I did not have any backup =(
