a quick question about USB OTG cable, if it works for thumbdrive, it should work for HDD, provided it have enough power, right? or is it a hit and miss kind of thing?
mine Seagate 1TB USB3.0 work without additional power (sometime)some hdd need additional power, and can be solve with OTG Y-Cable
theoretically USB2.0 can supply 500mA... and USB3.0 900mA
my usb3.0 hdd if not enuf power, will produce beeb warning sound
it is not advisable to connect your hdd directly to N7 and run it for too long
it will stress ur battery and reduce the lifetime performance
but if u urgently need it... well~ wat the heck... who care

i heard N4 with OTG-Y works
