hi, guys just got my nexus 7c yesterday. Hopefully can learn from all the sifus here.

Guys, not sure if you have the same problem. My 7c seems to have problem detecting the sim card. Every time it say no SIM. But then ask me to restart coz sim detected. Is it that the sim tray is loose or something? Any way to fix this problem?

IMO RM25 for 1GB is quite expensive as well. I am now using Maxis Postpaid BB for my N7c. It's only RM58 per month for 4+4GB. It's RM68 per month but you get RM10 rebate for 12 months and its not under contract coz I didnt take the wifi capable USB modem.

Been flashing kernels to test, haven't decide to stick to which one yet. how is m-kernel performing? okay?

what happened? cracking sound? i guess the speaker is a bit fragile..dont dare to put it to max afraid might burst it..

You would not be able to update OTA if you are rooted. To fix your problem you have to flash stock 4.3 via recovery. You can download the flashable stock 4.3 here.

But then you will lose root, you can regain root by flashing this root fix SuperSU. Remember to update the binaries after you flash to regain root.

Hope this helps. Btw, you will not loose any of your previous data if you dont do a full wipe. Just do a dirty update.

Forgot to ask, are you on CWM or TWRP? If you one TWRP can try USB OTG to update your stock ROM.

Mind to tell your flashing process? you can still boot into bootloader rite?
