hi,im very new with nexus 7.i bought it yesterday evening but its stuck on google n x logo when trying to restart it..please help me..

My first unit I bought directly from Google USA I sent in just the tablet without any supporting docs. They just need the serial number only. I needed motherboard replace n is free but tech screwup changing it n I got a new unit as replacement instead

PRESS POWER BUTTON for 10 Seconds and press volume down immediately
Use volume buttons to toggle from one option from another: Go to RecoveryMode

Wait until ERROR SCREEN POPS then, PRESS(POWER AND VOLUME UP FOR 3 Seconds)
Go to factory reset(USING VOLUME BTNS)
Go to Yes (USING VOLUME BTNS)
Restart your tablet

just checking , does any one here have the speaker sound distortion ?
there is like this burst speaker sound when is above 50% volume

In the early months, several users had their speakers replace due to this. It is under warranty. Get it replace before it blows

Roughly u know how long will i leave my tablet there ?

i already did it,it stuck on erasing..dont know why..

In KL , I have read from users here if they have stock, you can get it replace within few hours
If they do not have, they will order for you and inform you when to send in tablet to have it replaced

Finally got made my decision to root my device.

I'm using the Nexus Root Toolkit by Wugfresh here http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/#prettyphoto[fancygallery-1-1]/0/

Although already rooted the device following the instructions, however I'm still in a little bit of confusion with all those terms used such as 'Rom' 'Flash' 'Stock' 'Kernel' and so on.

What should I do if there's something goes wrong and I wanted to goes back to factory setting again? D:

Anyway to reduce the lag? After 4.2.2 update, the unit so laggy.

1080p screen is going to be a huge upgrade. A deal breaker for me

Use the same toolkit and remove root. Then download original stock rom and flash back to stock rom if you want (if you have flashed to other roms).

Definitely wait for new version.

If I am u, i'll wait for Nexus 7 2. Snapdragon processor. Better processing power than tegra in my opinion.
