Dun think so...Early Nov may b a bit cheap but not during the Holiday. In order to get the cheap ticket, u need to follow AA promotion closely and book on the very day the announcement....On all my Langkawi trip my air ticket are all below RM30!.. + & - tax & surcharge will be around RM150.

& Yes tnx to AA, I oledi got my FOC tickets (+Tax & surcharge =RM180/ 2ways ticket) to ChiangMai this coming Nov & also Manila at RM8 (~RM210/ 2 ways ticket) to Manila nxt Mar'08

As mentioned...Be alert on the day they announce the FOC or cheap ticket promotion on papers....Infact the RM0.88 tickets to Langkawi is still available....but I think it will be difficult to get the date u wanted...Just book & follow the instruction online & just charge ur Evil...eh..I mean credit card....simple as ABC

most important are the dates. Last year, AA made a blunder I would think, Sunday LGK - LCCT RM0.30 ticket available. This time round I do not see any tix of Sunday to be cheap. So the dates I go are like Tuesday - Friday.

Am planning my Krabi trip, but kinda difficult to plan for 9 pax... . Arrgggghhhh...

As mentioned...once announcement on papers (very early) u will need to start searching for hours b4 getting the price u wanted....Most of the good dates (School holiday) are selling very fast infact within 1/2 days after the announcement....So u really have to book on the date of announcement to get the cheap tickets.. Well u still can get the cheap one but probably not to the date u like....I still can see AA tickets to Langkawi at RM19.99 sometime from 25/10 till 30/10 on their website..who say no such ticket....

There was once I managed to get cheap ticket at 11PM i.e an hour b4 actual date of announcement...damn lotsa of dates u can choose....

Booking for Jan - May next year still got wut RM0.88.

When is the travel period. I seems can't find on their website.

search for flights in Jan 2008 onwards la... slowly sieve through the dates.... you will find some gems... but I think its over liao... close date yesterday for RM0.88/tix. But now they have the Langkawi holiday package from RM113.99/pax.... hmmmm... never tried those though... .

Out of curiosity of others who find it difficult to get cheap tickets, and also as mentioned by Grengo that the RM0.88 promotion is over....I've check AA website & found that although promotion is over BUT they still hv lotsa cheap airfare at RM29.99 around January 2008!!

So wondering why ppl still say AA promotion is a gimmick... ...I still find they are the best in SEA! and enable poor guy like me to enjoy SEA to the fullest since 2001!...The price to Langkawi above is even cheaper than taking Bus & ferry!

Can i ask, which bus is better if i wan travel to Langkawi by taking bus? the pudu there have 2 different buses, 1 is Plusliner and the other is Maraliner...which 1 more comfortable, becos i will take night bus, so will sleep most the time in the bus....

haha yeah, but i wanted a nov ticket previously... cant get any... now only got october one.. swt... i guess i gotta look at AA website all the tme.. hopefully there are new announcement for Nov, otherwise it ll be nite train for me

Hanks.... no more 88sen tix but I think for Feb you can still get 29.99 Maybe hold your horses for a while longer... till end of Oct to get your tix but 29.99 isnt that bad... be about RM140 return tix per pax.

Normally AA promotion will be much ahead of time...for eg..the RM0.88 probably for travelling period from 1 Jan08 up to 30th Mar'08...so u will be expecting the nxt big promotion probably start about a mth or two from now but ravelling period will probably from Apr'08 to .......

Get it b4 u regret...unless u willing to travel much later....The RM0.88 or FOC promotion to Langkawi is not common...normally RM19.99 or RM29.99....
