Pulau Songsong and Pulau Payar... once upon a time before it became a marine park was a haven for fishing. Use to fish for grouper and stingrays there...

Ok.. ok.. I must admit I am lost when you guys talk GPS... for me its the compass and the general direction...

If I'm not mistaken, after you pass by the underwater world, there got 1 restaurant called The Lighthouse. Is an ideal place for couples but the meal isn't cheap.
The environment is superb for sure. Facing the sea with live band I think or a people playing violin. Not really sure about this as I didn't actually take my meal there. Thanks to the "nice" price there. laugh.gif

Yeah, I mean since the place have been featured in Discovery Travel and Living so you can expect there is some "price standard" there.

I usually go there and order one big a$$ soda and lime, smoke my J.Cortes cigarillo and occasionally go down to the water there to play.

Yes. It is about 18KM away from Kuah...Although Langkasuka is the cheapest 4star resort but the beach is the dirtiest in whole Langkawi and nothing in neihboruing...U really need a transport if u stay there..no nearby eateries and the nearest reataurant cocoa beach is also 1.5KM away..and thatthe nearest restaurant which is not cheap too...The happening strecth should be at Pantai Cenang..there are lotsa hotels there & water quality is much better than those nearer to Airport...

Yes ah since the price is quite attractive, RM188 for 3D2N, want to view the sea just add 40 bucks. (Voucher price)
Regular one should be 90-100+ for 2D1N
