guys, i m not sure if it's my iphone 5 or its maxis' problem.
I have been experiencing terrible drop calls. For example : I can have 2-3 times of drop call for one particular call i make its terrible...have u guys got the same experience? ------------------------------------ 2nd question : One I do a clean restore, how do you transfer back all ur data into ur phone? the only way i know is restoring, but that wont be a clean restore. Thx |

Do you guys make a full restore when updating to 6.1.2?
I updated mine OTA. I wonder will it fully address the exchange bug or should I just do a full restore via the PC? Hmm.. |

6.1.2 still got issue with 3G toggle switch. don't say it's telco problem, when i got my iphone 5 with 6.0.2 firmware it was ok, from EDGE straight away to 3G when toggle the 3G switch on but now it still shows EDGE when enable 3G. sometimes might wait for 5 mins before the 3G comes in. or worse need to reboot hp. how can apple released something with a bug that broke a previously working feature?

Currently i on 6.1 jailbreak using evasion. I dun get ota update for 6.1.2, iinm due to i already jb. My question is can i update through itune? Coz itune is showing the update. If i update, will my jailbreak gone? Also so i need to do fully restore b4 update?

How u guys get soo good battery life? Mine only 3 to 4 hours usage battery wan to k.o ad. Do u huys off ur 3g when not using?

To update, u can download IPSW file from any website, and hold 'option' while clicking restore in iTunes (for MacOSX) and you can select the IPSW manually. but remember to backup your iphone first to the computer using iTunes. Normally after i update my iphone, i set it as a new phone but i still manage to get all my contacts due to gmail capabilities in restoring my contacts. hope this helps. |
