my iphone 5 having this problem too, when the connection drop from 3G to E, it wont change back to 3G, i have to switch on off airplane mode to bring back the 3G.

btw im using celcom broadband sim card only, cannot make call.

guys, since i got this iphone 5, i have this problem, whenever my phone turn from 3g to edge, it wont change back to 3g even the area is 3g covered, i knew this because my bb n sony phone are 3g/H. the only way for me to bring back the 3g is by on/off airplane mode. but it is getting annoying already. my phone already Jailbreak. but this problem occur ever since i got this phone at os6.0.1. r there a solution for this? or most importantly r there any app that can lock to 3g network only?

is this software or hardware or telco problem? btw do u know any app that can lock 3G network only? i dun understand why apple dont include that in the setting.

Currently i on 6.1 jailbreak using evasion. I dun get ota update for 6.1.2, iinm due to i already jb. My question is can i update through itune? Coz itune is showing the update. If i update, will my jailbreak gone? Also so i need to do fully restore b4 update?

owh tq, does it mean all of my setting i dowloaded while jb are gone? like sbsetting, accelerate etc will all gone too?

ok 1 more question, shud i restore the phone first b4 uprgading or i can straight update from itune? btw is this a worth update?
