QUOTE(ian2000 @ Feb 22 2013, 03:58 PM) Guys and experts. Currently having a major headache. I'm using a 4S. Updated to 6.1.2 on Wednesday night. Next day until now I have not been able to enable my wifi. Been trying to on and off, on a couple of occasions I managed to enable the wifi, can't detect any connection at all! What can I do? i suggest u to restore to previous version u were using. i dnt think 6.1.2 is stabil yet.

Updated to 6.1.2 yesterday The 3G bug has been squashed. No overnight battery drain
Good to have a normal working phone again (the 3G airplane toggle thingy was such a nuisance)

Try to gauge the battery effectiveness after at least one full charge because most of us would have updated when our battery is partially charged.

QUOTE(wengfai11 @ Feb 23 2013, 09:59 AM) Is that true that batery life on iOS 6.12 worsen than iOS 6.1? I'm on 4s. After updating to 6.1.2, two things happened: 1. Can't enable wifi anymore. Wifi button greyed out. 2. Battery became worse off (a lot) than before. Really biggest mistake of my iphone life in updating to 6.1.2!!!

I reset and restore to factory setting for iPhone 5 using itunes (989++ MB downloaded) ios 6.1.2.
On 3G all the time, auto brightness, no keyboard and lock sound, on push mail for icloud, yahoo, outlook, and fetch hourly gmail. notification on and push for facebook, whatsapp, line, wechat, appoday and groupon. autolock 1 minute. off wifi, bluetooth.
usage 6 hours 41 minutes standby 23 hours 4 minutes 16% battery
somewhat satisfied with the battery. but still spare 4400mAh yoobao power bank which can re-charge for about 2.4 times.
don't know the upcoming ios 6.1.3 will further improve the battery usage or not.

@ 20% battery for 6.1.2 without JB, I'm getting roughly the same 6 hrs +.
Definitely no battery drain for me. On my 2nd full charge after the upgrade to 6.1.2. Will monitor again.

QUOTE(nonameNo @ Feb 22 2013, 10:56 AM) Did a fresh upgrade from 5.1 to 6.1.2 with JB. Few things observe: 1. Charging reach 97% to 98% taking a while, meaning easily 15 to 20mins to increase 1%. Not sure - need to observe again. 2. Full charge to 100% at 10pm, play some games, 3G, emails for around 30 mins, battery still show 100%. 3. Left the phone with Edge mode until morning, 97%. So far, the iOS respond is much faster than my old iOS. anymore 5.1.1 to 6.1.2 reviews to share?
