QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Feb 20 2013, 10:44 AM) As already stated by me and some forummers, this problem is caused by your Network Provider. Namely Maxis, Celcom, Digi etc. So far only Maxis users complained of such problems. This problem has nothing to do with IOS6.1 or anything. You just need to go to your Network Provider and get your NanoSim replaced. Those who got your your nano sims from them will get it replaced free while those who cut will get charged. So far those who got their nanosims replaced don'tt face this problem anymore. I beg to differ. When I was with 6.0.1, I do not have this 3G/Edge problem. Only after the 6.1 upgrade then this issue surfaces. Same phone, same nano sim card. QUOTE(decavalera @ Feb 20 2013, 01:39 PM) After update to 6.1.2 & jb. I think my high battery drainage remain the same, eventhough i use my company exchange email. I guess no diff at all from 6.1. Didnt mind that much bout the battery usage. Do update us if the 3G bug is fixed - though I doubt it as it seems Apple only releases this update to address the Exchange issue.

Updated to 6.1.2 yesterday The 3G bug has been squashed. No overnight battery drain
Good to have a normal working phone again (the 3G airplane toggle thingy was such a nuisance)

QUOTE(uzary @ Feb 27 2013, 09:44 AM) owh tq, does it mean all of my setting i dowloaded while jb are gone? like sbsetting, accelerate etc will all gone too? ok 1 more question, shud i restore the phone first b4 uprgading or i can straight update from itune? btw is this a worth update? To backup your cydia packages, you can go for OpenBackup, which is free. Tried it myself but it is a rather a hit or miss affair for me. Sometimes work, most of the time doesn't, not sure why. Xbackup on the other hand never failed me, but it is not free.
