If battery dead and under warranty, isn't the SC supposed to send someone on site and replace with new battery? If it is middle of the night, at least should come on site on next day.
*
Good question! Don't be surprised if a tow truck appears.

my car got 'brake metal scratching' sound when pressing brake during  100km/h driving. Can i bring it to SC for checking? my mileage almost 19000KM ady..

Before that have done balancing alignment swapping everything..

Thanks all..
*
You just bought,19K already aah! Wow your Lion running wild la......hehehe! biggrin.gif

The scratching sound is symptom of worn brake pads. You will be able to see circular grove on your brake disc. Send to SC immediately to change brake pads. If you delay, the grove gets deeper and might require brake disc change also. This is wear & tear, you'll have to pay.

Hi, i got the same problem with you, the 3rd problem, bell ringing very annoying, i will send to SC 30th of august, hope can settle it, everything is nice, just the sound very annoying.
*
It could be seat belt feedback signal faulty. Ask SC to check drivers seat belt buckle housing. This can be deactivated to stop the bell.

How's the fuel consumption for the 208 if you guys don't mind me asking over here? Since it is just a 4 speed gear box... Is it about the same as the MyVi?
*
Probably marginally better than Myvi, just a guess only. My 2nd car is Myvi and I don't think the FC is great! In fact if I keep to 100kmh,my urban drive FC is as good as Myvi, but mine is 6speed!

your 408 is 1500kgs and myvi is slightly above 900kgs.  rolleyes.gif
*
That's the beauty of the 408t,inspite of 1/3 heavier, FC not bad. 6speed gb really good on light foot urban runs. tongue.gif

Bro SKYjack,

I did my 30K service today and asked abt aircond service. The service advisor told me that I only have to service the aircond when it is no longer cold. Not based on mileage. Is it true?
*
That is basically true bro.

However an annual check for leaks and general condition is good. This can be done by owner himself.

Thanks bro  biggrin.gif

Quite worried since I serviced the aircond of my previous car (honda city) every 30K - 40K as recommended by service advisor.
*
Ya continue to enjoy your Pug. Fyi, my last car E46,didn't service air-con for 5years. Had no problems with air-con till I sold it. biggrin.gif

Thats is not that kind of fuel saving mode. Might be something triggered it to be activated before u start ur car. Might be u forgot to off the room light/ headlamp. Or u left the car door open for a long period, this consumed the batt current. And when ur car detected ur batt is weak due to those reasonst this trigger eco mode and auto turn off those which u will see eco mode on the display during ur next start up. After u drive ur car some time den the batt will be charged up, u wont be able to see the msg again.
*
Perfect, well done bro! You're getting to be quite a Lion tamer! rclxms.gif

guys do u know if our shows error engine fault repair needed what is the problem ? because it happen to my car now. but when i did run the diagnostic it doesn't show me any error messages.
*
If your car is running fine without any problems, don't worry about it. Probably just an electronic glitch! A momentary power loss by sensors or loss of sensor feedback to ECU.

I have the same experience with my 408T. The fan still runs even after engine turned off, for a while. I am also wondering if this is normal.

Other makes (eg japanese cars) have silent engine/acond.
*
I wrote about this some time back. If you back track, you'll find it. The short answer, this is to cool the turbo.

Looking at our owner list, turbo is a hot cookie. It's only right Naza promotes NA harder to get the sales. With the present promotion, brand new 2liter conti below 100K.........wow! NA is real value for money!

I need check with PIC whether got lion logo embroided or not.
I scare also leather will absorb heat rapidly than fabric...

Leather upholstery is elegant but there's a consideration. If your car is parked out in hot sun all day, then maybe you want to think about it. Inspite of good quality tint I find my seats hot to sit for a few minutes.

However if you decide to go leather,a good tint does help.
