I think all 6spd owners will participate as it will be lowering cost. The question is how do we organize the petition,to reach all 6spd gb owners. You are right it will take time. For that reason we should start now.

Based on lowpro's info,we can hold on for a while. If Nassim is looking into this,which they should,then it is great. At the same time I feel a petition from us owners may add an impact as customer concerns! Open to suggestions!

Btw,what is latest on your car registration,able to retain your old number?

Ya I think it is a good idea we give it a start. Btw this only affects 6spd gb,which means only 73members at the moment. I'm pretty sure non-actives will sing the petition cos it will save them money. As I said, if we can reach out to all 6spd gb owners than it will be huge and a strong impact.

Unfortunately Nasim does not allow third party involvement, as a result we have to put up with this 'Tidak apa attidude'.

Right now there's a 508GT owner who needs a gearbox change on his brand new car. I think the gb failed like within a few days of use. He has waited a month. Although a new gb has arrived at Subang a week ago,no action from Nassim to pick it up.This is the height of tidak apa attitude. Imagine the frustration the owner is going through. To make matters worst his dad was against him buying this car......now not taking to him!

This guy has won my complete respect la. Most of us would have lost our head. He handled everything so well that Nasim gave a 508GT as a courtesy car. He doesn't trash the car but clean and takes care of the courtesy car as his own. He is my hero la!

Today he is practically begging Nasim to help him,go pickup the gb. My heart sank for this fellow la!

Oh man I've been waiting for this from the day I bought this car. In fact I remember giving my SA a hard time cos the car did not come with this as the China cars have it. He was so apologetic and showered me with any gift i wanted.

Any idea of cost. More importantly,Is this from Nasim. If 3rd party,then it will void warranty. Actually it is bit of a delima,it will be cut-throat price from Nasim,if get from 3rd party,will void warranty.......damn!

308t boys are busy with tuning box. Mixed reactions,some happy some unhappy. However this will void warranty. You might want be careful there!

No chance of reasonable price when Nasim gets involved la bro. They put a cheap Korean unit on the 407,the damn screen gives problem within 3 years. Replacement screen cost $5K.

408 was designed with a popup GPS for China market. GPS removed on Malaysian models. Nassim will use this as a cash cow, after this maybe a year later FL.

I have always been skeptical about the claimed performance without a turbocharger upgrade. Injecting more fuel alone does not cut. Higher density air too is needed. Charged air comes from the turbocharger! Your input answers my queries.

I know the unit is not an empty box of wires. It does contain software to interact with the ECU. A remapped ECU does spike the bhp, but no serious performance!

There are a few 308t guys selling off their units,obviously not happy with the performance. Another point ppl must remember,the additional power is not free. More power means more FC and that is clearly stated in that article. To be frank, our Lion does get thirsty if one is not careful!

True,true.......paying 5K for a new toy that we'll probably not use after a couple of months is not worth it. I've got a portable unit,haven't touched it in the last 7months. Worst part, it doesn't always give the shortest route.........sometimes I know better...hehehe!

It can only mean Peugeot is meeting it's sales target. That's good news. I don't think those not included in the package can do anything to enjoy this benefit.

The air-con is a 2point operation.
1) Push air-con button on the temperature selector. Amber light come on to indicate compressor operation.
2) Select blower rotary switch to desired number for airflow rate.

If you only selected #2 and not #1,you will get warm air. The blower is blowing unconditioned air from the duct.
If you did not select either,warm air will come into cabin,but at a very low rate.

You definitely have a petrol leak,hard to say exactly where unless open up tank.

Petrol fumes are highly volatile. Don't smoke in the car and see the SC immediately. Since petrol fumes are in the cabin it will ready mix with air which makes it very combustible,all it needs is a cigarette bud,and you are up in flames.

One of our NA bros was worst, visible fuel leak below the car. Was a leaking tank,fixed under warranty.

Tks for your input bro. Just checked mine,is in good shape. However I must say the main frame where the screws are attached seem flimsy. There's quite a bit of metal flex when rears doors are opened full,potential future problem area.

Owners who carry rear passengers have to watch out for this weak spot. Continuous full opening of rear doors may cause a problem here.Do not push hard towards full open end.

This is not a problem. It shows instantaneous FC,ie fuel consumption at that moment. If your car is not moving and engine off,then there is no fuel consumed.
