Today my pug engine dies off suddenly while travelling at 50km/p. The aircond and radio are still functioning. Luckily not on busy road. I thought it was the battery problem. After stopped at the roadside, I switched off the engine. I managed to switch on the engine after waited for few seconds. I tried it for few times and all attempts were successful. Was this a battery problem or fuel pump problem? Anyone has encountered this problem before?

Should not be battery cuz battery only used when starting, when running battery not in use anymore.. so could be fuel or ecu detected something?

Not battery or fuel. It's an ECU electronic glitch. A glitch, meaning it is only a temperory malfunction. This could be due a loss of electrics for a second or two. EUC is the heart of the engine and commands entire engine operation according to to driver request, from startup to shutdown.

Nothing to worry, especially since your car operation is normal now. Happy pugging! biggrin.gif

After further exploring my new "white horse"...would like to check with all owner here...1) do u send the car for wheel alignment and balancing after collecting the new car? Reason ask: I felt the car a little bit left pull but not severe, 2) The tyre pressure I use is 2.5 bar as recommended by peugeot shown in the label beside driver door, may I know what is your pressure? Reason ask: I felt a little bit bouncy during travelling in highway. So fare driven 50km everything look good except observation above. The major let down i would say is the peugeot speaker sound quality is just way out then I think before but that cannot do much at the moment.

2.5bar is 36.25psi smile.gif

alignment could be due to road conditions or maybe done badly predelivery

yup car is bumpy as in a firm but not harsh ride

this is the characteristics of the car
