Hi guys, those who booked your 408T which get 8k overtrade, did your SA told you that you need to register your car before end of the promotion period?

Where got such things? I though as long as you placed your deposit to book your car during the promotion period, you are entitled for that.

FYI. I was a little disappointed that the interest by Maybank was a whopping 2.54% far from quoted 2.47%. If it's not the convenience, I'll look otherwise.
*
That's quite high.. affin bank gives 2.38%..any other bank that gives good rates?

Yah I heard about Affin Bank ...but inconvenient for me. 2.38% for 90% finance?
*
It's inconvenient to me too but just do online transfer will do... If 90%, if I'm not mistaken just sightly higher at 2.39%.. glenmarie branch use to pass it to affin bank..

Few questions have been answered here regarding the car. Thanks!

Also the current intrest rate I got from maybank was 1.55 percent.

QUOTE(Pugbunny @ Mar 16 2013, 12:02 PM)
Today my pug engine dies off suddenly while travelling at 50km/p. The aircond and radio are still functioning. Luckily not on busy road. I thought it was the battery problem. After stopped at the roadside,  I switched off the engine. I managed to switch on the engine after waited for few seconds. I tried it for few times and all attempts were successful. Was this a battery problem or fuel pump problem? Anyone has encountered this problem before?
*
Should not be battery cuz battery only used when starting, when running battery not in use anymore.. so could be fuel or ecu detected something?

Guys, just saw from peugeot website, starting from 15/3, Glenmarie SC is by appointment only..
Quoted from website:In our continuous effort to ensure the best level of service to our customers, we would like to inform that with effect from 15 March 2013, our service centre in Glenmarie will operate strictly on a 'by appointment only' basis. The service centre will however allow walk-in for emergency cases which must be determined by the service centre manager and those without appointment must park their cars outside the building to provide priority to customers by appointment.

Customers can also visit our other 5 centres in the Klang Valley for service / repairs.

QUOTE(Pugbunny @ Mar 22 2013, 10:43 AM)
I don’t think it got to do with the driving mode selection. This is what I gathered from other forums on 308.

“Pug uses lots of uses lots of amperage due to the electronic system and requires high amp batteries. Even hydraulic power assisted steering needs electricity to operate???. If you always drive in traffic jams or for a short distance, the alternator does not have long time enough to recharge the battery. That is the reason why battery died prematurely. Some of 308s don' t have battery problem if normally driven long distance and outside cities.

As for the new Lion, it is advisable to check your battery condition during your first 2500km, 10k and 20k service. The indicator is not accurate. The best way to measure your battery is always using the battery health tool.”

Like other sifus mentioned in the earlier posts, it’s more on the battery design flaws . I don’t understand why Nasim didn’t resolve it for our 408.

Edited - battery warranty is up to 1 year or 20,000km, whichever comes first. Right?
*
How long is the long distance? For me everyday, my journey from home to office only about 15km, then this really worries me that battery problem will happen to me.. somemore traffic jam..

our car certainly looks better with this

i'm wondering is this available in peugeot's sc or not, since my sa keep nagging me many times do not mod the car in order not to void the car's 5 years warranty

jiunkei, did ur sa mention anything about warranty?
*
The SA told me that it will not void the warranty as it is install by authorized installer, authorized by peugeot malaysia.. this unit comes with GPS & reverse camera right?

Btw, lately started to see more and more 408 on the road, especially weekends.. went two different malls, also have another 408 parked next to mine when I'm leaving..

For those 2.0 NA, I thought it is using the same engine as the 407? Why there are problems at 408 only?
Btw, any boot tray for 408 instead of those foldable box?
