This is a real shocker for me. Still can't believe my eyes. Had the 408t delayed by a month, 407 will be parked in my garage. Was negotiating for one, and a year or two later would have gone for the 508 GT. Love the turbo diesel la! Would have missed all you guys......hehehe!

Auto connect here we referring to:
Bluetooth of your phone left it to on all the time. Den each time you turn off your engine, went down to do your stuff, den back on to your car, start your engine. You need not do anything on your phone, u may just keep your phone in your pocket or bag, it auto connect to your car system again. So far my S3 working flawless on this.

If your iPhone need to on/ off to reconnect it for each time u reenter your car, it's not auto connecting.

Also, would consumer find it acceptable that in their(VW's) drive to become the world no.1 car manufacturer by volume, no doubt they have let slip on some quality issues. But their volume of cars sold also easily 2x/3x/4x even compared to some of their continental rivals. Don't need to worry about this too much.

Since they take into account cost, of course more expensive cars will have a worse rating.
Cheaper smaller cars are likely to have a better rating.
Example, if you buy a Porsche you know maintenance is going to be higher than if you buy a KIA picanto.

A better comparison would be if they compared how much time was required to repair a car on average.
