The mapping in a Vios makes it hold onto a gear more compared to Persona, where it will kick down a gear very eagerly.. So i would prefer a more efficient engine mapping compared to a more powerful engine, as im able to harness more output from it compared to wasting too much money to bump up the stock engine power to a high level instead..

Guys, when you WOT, does ECU read 100% throttle? Mine is 88% max

9secs? mine pun cannot. I understand, what I actually mean is that if my car power now is at 70hp, I believed if I had 110hp, I will be satisfied edi.
is true about the power to weight ratioand also gear ratio. somehow thats the good thing about vios also with its reliable gearbox.
well engine mapping can be done, but then gearbox, I not very sure, coz we all know we get only 70% of the power thru this gearbox.
speaking of which, I think the DEO1000 is the same function as the potent booster.

if that is your throttle during WOT then ur 14 sec can be justified.

88% only ar? no wonder mine top speed 180km/h cannot go beyond. hmm.gif
i suspect the stopper on the bottom does restrict the WOT?

today test play acceleration with friends, vs. golf tsi and forte, once traffic light turned green accelerate till 100km/h, but already far from those 2 cars as I no WOT coz it's on normal road.

But tsi's acceleration really damn fast, fetching 2 ppl inside, both forte and me single driver also hard to keep up. if he drive sister's golf R we sure cannot see him.

Might be able to calibrate it back. Perhaps proton placed throttle profiles with different Max.
