I think it is normal as your lower speed didn't happend all the time.

So I thought of trying to have a consistent variable, and I tried to ping back Penang server (Celcom Axiata) and get back to 8mbps:

I also tried downloading from Steam, and it gives me around 800-900KBps, I guess this means it's normal?

I subscribed to 8mbps for a year now.... along the way had issues with speed inconsistency. Technician came and cover the problem by increasing my speed to 10mbps. So now i am unofficially on 10mbps line subscribed to 8mbps line.... Speed test shows the usual variance and tops out (quite regularly) at 9.x mbps .....

hmmm.... i should just hush about it eh? LOL

the first day i got my 8mb, technician set my line to 10mb.. soo theres that .. rclxms.gif

U mean the technician set the cap limit to 10mbps right?
if so that's quite normal across all 8mbps users.

Opening 10240 kbps ADSL downstream give huge overhead.
even you do speed test, seeing almost 9.1mbps,
what I observed, test download, open Task Manager (Windows 8/10), TM only give few seconds 9.1 mbps then drop to 8mbps, this way TM can cheat speed test cry.gif only works TCP connection

i dont think they will... cause unifi lite cheaper than 8mbps streamyx.

Hey guys, does everyone notice ping slightly increases nowadays ? Im used to speedtest and regularly get 35ms but now always 45ms something. Both to SG and MY or just me ?

Hello guys my house currently using the 8mb for almost 1 year now, i stay at Uni but when i came home i noticed that my internet somewhat slow .I do a speed test and got around 1.8mb of download only. Checking at the router also shows data rate at 2xxx kbps something for downstream .Did a report last Saturday but till today still nothing.. Did anyone ever faced this kind of issues ? sad.gif

Here my speed of 8mb, TM just fix my streamyx today, 1 week I have unstable connection in my area, disconnected.

hi all,i just upgraded to 8mb last month and all thing run smooth. but last night when i downloading my router internet led blinking then i get disconnected,i try download today and still disconnect, but i dont have problem when i am not downloading, what happen?? cry.gif
