Tried with cable, iPhone, iPad, speed still same.
When starting the speed test, it boost to 8Mpbs, then it dropping to 4Mbps at the end.
Seems like something wrong with my port, or my router caps the speed?
BTW, I'm using TP-Link TD-W8961ND router.

my connection has been unstable for the past few months. it always shows limited connectivity. 3 to 4 times a day. i have reset the modem for N times and it just wont work. Anyone having the same issue? btw, i am using dlink dsl 2730e modem. I subscribed a few years ago. it was a student package. RM88/month - 4mpbs

what's wrong with tm? called me about promotion to upgrade my streamyx from 2 to 8mb, after i used it for 2 weeks throttle my speed back to 2mb and no notification at all, when i called them only they tell me they cancelled the upgrade coz my area cant support 8mb? wtf?

Can anyone recommend be a good modem for 8mb streamyx.. just upgrade my speed from 1mb to 8mb..currently using an old dlink modem..

1) Youtube streaming speed. it is possible to get 1080p smoothly? or maybe just 720p?

Actually the problem I have with the TM D-Link DSL-2730E is that when Apple iPhone or iPad connects to it, apparently all other devices which connects to this modem will have slow speeds and high pings. I have enabled QoS yet the same issue.

the stb..for hypptv, which connection do you use? wifi? ethernet?

the ethernet is really a dedicated iptv line? or still piggyback on the 8mbps line?

because i just use wifi line for the hypptv because the tv and modem router is far from the tv..and i am 100% it streaming using the 8mbps line.
