hey guys, i noticed that the line in my area is very bad this lately. I from Sandakan, Sabah and i have subscribed 8mb internet line. Is there any way to boost up the speed?

Any idea what could be causing this poor DSL connection? Used to be 20+dB for SNR. Encountering frequent disconnections due to the low SNR. My internal house wiring lines have never changed. Could it be the junction box on the TM pole or the port in the DSLAM? Already made a complaint to TM and SKMM and still waiting for a fix.

Seems like my 8MBps is only 2MBps at the moment.. Port says 5696kbps instead of 8XXXkbps.....

I subsribe to 8MB, but the download cap is 8191, instead of 10239. I phone up 100, they tell me is because my house near to the port. Is there such thing?

Currently using streamyx 8mbps and seriously thinking of moving to unifi vip5. Do you guys think i should make the move or stay put with streamyx.

youtube, after shittons of refreshing, ip cycle, still capped around 500kbps. wtf is wrong?

unifi until now also don want to come le... corporate want 10mbps speed .

anyone having problem update app through App Store?

I have iPhone and iPad cannot update app when using streamyx (i am on 8m package)

but when i switch to Maxis 3G or Yes mifi the apps can update

what happen to streamyx? block Apple App Store?

I have problems with my streamyx 8mbps recently

Max speed only 2mbps
Pings around 50-100

Hypptv will loading every 15-30mins
I already call tm around 20times

Various solution given
Modem broken,spliter,phone socket,modem setting wrong

Guess what...today..they call me they said my internal wiring is broken..that why my internet is slow...

Seem ridiculous since my house already build 2-3 years
Phone call no problem
Internet quite stable despite 2mbps

Do you guys think it is occur because of internal phone wiring??

Yes..TM call me..they said it is internal wiring
But they never came to.my house to check...how i can get guarantee that after i change my wiring my speed will get back to normal?

It will cost me some amount for telephone wiring..

Is the Streamyx version of Hypptv different from Unifi?

I've heard for for Streamyx it shares the 8mb internet connection for Hypptv while it doesn't for Unifi making Streamyx unable to watch tv while fully downloading.

how to check if the line support 8mbps. im currently on 4mbps

so if my current 4mbps , line attenuation high around 40-50

and snr is low at 13-22

then my line will not support for 8mbps and also will not support in future, unless I move house?

recently something is not right with my streamyx.
When i open a browser,it always appear this error> "This webpage is not available"
I have to refresh many times until the page it loaded successfully.

Is anything wrong with my line?
I off and on my modem ,the issue still remain.
