QUOTE(zeronehza @ Mar 12 2017, 10:14 AM) this one i've told the bullshit technical / installer when they install my shitmix.. but he ignored me then said he cant do anything regarding those ping.. only speed he will take care. They don't have much control on the configuration actually. Most of them don't even know how. |

QUOTE(acid427 @ Mar 12 2017, 02:08 PM) If not mistaken, pakji successful request TM to change his path mode from interleave to fastpath. The technician know nothing and they rather don't bother their bosses for things like this.I tried and failed, technician don't know how to do it, they came to my house and blur. You need to find a way to have your issue escalated until the bosses. |

My connection is interleaved with decent ping. I believe it has more to do with the backhaul to the cabinet.
near-end interleaved channel bit rate: 10240 kbps near-end fast channel bit rate: 0 kbps far-end interleaved channel bit rate: 0 kbps far-end fast channel bit rate: 637 kbps noise margin upstream: 18.1 db attenuation upstream: 4.4 db noise margin downstream: 23.6 db attenuation downstream: 7.7 db ADSL uptime 126:03:41 ![]() |

QUOTE(Alpha_Tay @ Mar 14 2017, 01:00 PM) interleaved has level, higher level would get higher ping, lower level would get lower ping. Thanks for the clarification. Interleave Depth defines the number of bits (or bytes) in each block of data, for example my diagram above shoes an example Interleaving depth of 4. ADSL supports a various levels of interleaving, the depth of which can range from 0 (off) and from 1 to 64. Steps I've seen are 1, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 for the downstream and 1, 2, 4, 8 for the upstream. http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/interleaving.htm I guess my interleaved depth is pretty low but I have no idea how to check. |

QUOTE(arava @ Apr 16 2017, 10:47 PM) I've upgraded to Streamyx 8mbps for a while now (from Penang). However, on Friday my phone line had issue with no dial tone, and affected my Internet as well. Contacted Tmnet and today the they came to fix the phone line. Now it's ok but my speed seems to hit only around 6mbps. Is this normal? What is your ADSL stat![]() |

QUOTE(Adriel @ Jul 25 2017, 06:13 PM) Joke of the day I receive a call from 0322413121 claims to be from TM, the lady claim that they have fixed the cable issue near my area which they claim is the cause of my wrongly capped speed (Not sure how it is related as the downstream speed is the same since last month "Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps): 4096" the value never change). Request them to send a technician and show him the ADSL stats.Logged into my router and saw it is still "Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps): 4096 , Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps): 511" I don't think I need to bother trying to test my download speed by looking at the value of the downstream in my router to figure out if my internet speed is fixed. Wonder what should I say tomorrow morning when I receive the call from tm? |

QUOTE(squall_12 @ Aug 10 2017, 08:00 PM) hi guy, Have you ever try escalating to SKMM or CFM? They are more effective than TM own support.anyone have TM high up email contact? I want to make complain to them which i have already complain 10 report still unable to fixed my streamyx intermittent line drop issue. My issue currently. - Intermittent streamyx line will drop connection. - If reconnect back my streamyx speed will drop to 4-7mb instead of 8mb - During reconnect back my streamyx snr is around 4-5 which is too low and phone will be noisy. - If using phone my streamyx will drop line. - Need to on and off the phone few time to get back my streamyx line back to normal 8mb but snr will be low 14-15 instead previously 22-24. - Direct connect without phone also will have streamyx line drop issue. Thanks |
