I just upgraded to 8mbps today. But the SNR drop to 6.3. I face disconnection twice today. Do you think i should report to them to fix the SNR  problem ?

Definitely, they messed up your connection probably.

6.3 is severe.

Anyone successfully change the hard cap from 8M to 10M? I was initially cap at 10M, but one fine day, they change it to 8M. Heard now the hard cap is done by system. Since 8M is still best effort > 80%, wonder they will entertain me or not. If anyone successfully switch to 10M, please let me know the tricks. Thanks.

that's not good, try check again all cable connection, at the splitter, before and after modem router. Your SNR just tooo low you got there.

well, what is the appropriate channel to complain this to TM? i doubt their operator can handle this request.. i guess they will just ask me to check cable and windows again. Shall I just call and tell them the SNR drop under healthy level?

Call 100 and tell them your internet keep slow/dc, if they ask you've done your own troubleshoot (windows, ping, replug) just say you've done it. No need to tell the technical details they're less likely know what is it

The slowdown happened once in a while. I just told them i dont hv a pc, only have tablet. They will stop asking me doing all those silly stuff and then reset on their side. Speed recovers after they reset whatever it is.

Popcorn time base on torrent.

TM probably start to throttle torrent again.
