its sad really, quota implement but quality and speed become worse. what did they say about the reason they implement quota? Max$hit, ananda become malaysian richest, but still squeezing every bit of money we have.

to those thinking of getting "the" vpn, dont bother please, the speed is slow and most of the servers are not responding well, wasted my money on this lousy vpn, and the attitude of the seller is rude (FYI didnt get from LYN)

Maxis keep trying to brain wash user the FUP since 2007 where unlimited data is cap at 6GB to convince all user accept the 6GB if they plan to enforce it.
Set the system to monitor any excessive usage and apply necessary treatment..sounds like telling us "now i will hide the quota, and apply any quota myself if i determine you are excessive usage subscriber" mad.gif

i was wondering if i can ask them to turn on vpn port for me. thinking of trying vpn till i get a bypass..
i've tried some vpn so far.. and alll fail connecting to vpn server.

Hey guys, I'm using an EasyConnect script with my BIZ99 in a Three dongle- meaning not using the modem's app. So, I can't really check "quota" via SMS or call. Any other way? The OCS on Maxis website doesn't show anything regarding Internet usage. doh.gif I registered around a few months ago- like late last year. Also, IDK whether I have 5GB (IMO unlikely) or 30GB (likely) or still quota-less (possible). Haha. I love Maxis' infrastructure, but they need to work on the customer relations.

Does any one know what is the penalty like if terminate Bix 68 2 yrs contract before the contract end?

RM600 or RM25 per month left in contract.

A complaint to skmm and a phone call later can lower that to RM300.

30 calls to the customer service insisting to meet their floor manager will lower it to free.

guys, just tried to check my balance quota left, via the *136*9#, i think a couple of weeks back, im able to check my balance, but just now i tried to check, i got some kinda message where sayin this feature is unavailable for unlimited data plan user. based on ur reply, i think they just disable it or sort of that. just curious here, do we getting unlimited data again?

i personally not a heavy user as i already have 4mbps streamyx at home, this unlimited data most of the time i only use it for casual surfing.. so 30gb is more than enough for me.. but when i subscribed it, i was being told that its really unlimited where no limit cap.. and i dont think this 30gb is fair for us.. so do we able go get back this real unlimited data usage?

Read back a few threads, and u know what's happening..
No.. quota is still there.
First u can check with ussd code.
Then they disable it.. u must call them to know your usage/balance..
Later.. they disable that too. saying that they can't check your balance... (But yesterday they did tell me...)

If you call and argue about 'unlimited'... they'll say..
1] Unlimited.. means.. after qouta.. u still 'can' surf at CRAWLING SPEED
2] Unlimited Quota.. they have FUP...

that's really bad.. sad.gif i got around 1 yrs 5 months left....rather stick with it till contract finish then.. for biz68 and biz99, the quota maxis mentioned now is all 6gb?? or any different of quota between this 2 package?

Every one is shooting Maxis as if they have crappy products. Yet, they are still the best option for value for money wireless broadband internet, as compared to other telco providers (Celcom, Digi...etc) in terms of big quota and good coverage (30GB).

For those who want to call multiple times so that they can terminate for free without paying penalty, can try but I would say it is hard.

I was going to subscribe to this Unlimited plan last month, but I guess I was lucky enough to hesitate :s. But I'm still frustrated by this news..

So, what I did, I sent this to Celcom customer service :

Good evening.
The last few days, Maxis ended their Unlimited Biz broadband plan, by imposing 30GB quota. After that quota, the service went horribly and disgustingly slow to an extent that the users cannot even surf the internet anymore. The users were left with no choice but to accept the change of contract that Maxis imposed on them.

This is the chance for Celcom to shine. This is the time to show tthat Celcom can dominate the broadband market.

I would like to suggest Celcom to create an Unlimited Postpaid plan, with a full-speed 30GB quota. After that quota, speed will be limited to only 1Mbps, or to the very least, .5 Mbps. I know that Celcom have the newly upgrade LTE network. You have the power the turn the table and make it YOUR OWN GAME.

I believe, the implementation of this Unlimited plan will be a huge blow to other broadband provider, given the rate is around 60/month; Celcom will dominate the broadband market/Please.Please consider this suggestion.
