Hey guys, I'm using an EasyConnect script with my BIZ99 in a Three dongle- meaning not using the modem's app. So, I can't really check "quota" via SMS or call. Any other way? The OCS on Maxis website doesn't show anything regarding Internet usage.

Couldn't connect at all before 9am today. And I'm in Cheras some more. Eh, it's fixed now tho. (I can only hope they're installing LTE here)

QUOTE Alright. Im suddenly blocked from net access. Windows says something about network not verifying credentials or stuff. Using standard Windows dialup connection type- usually i get this message if i haven't paid my bill- bug i just did a few days ago. Why, maxis, why? (Near PJ area- jalan universiti ss14) UPDATE: Have called Maxis. They told me everything was fine- just safely remove modem and reboot, after setting the 3Connect dashboard to 3G (WCDMA) only. Worked for a while, was able to watch YouTube for a few minutes. Then had to restart all over again. After that I did a speedtest: ISP was Binariang Bhd. Don't know who they are but I think some other users complain also. But I think this because Maxis is lighting up LTE here in PJ SS13. This post has been edited by KaiHD: Apr 3 2013, 04:41 AM |

QUOTE(d3v073d_50uL @ Apr 4 2013, 03:31 AM) U sure bout the LTE? No, I don't know for sure- It's just my opinion based on what I think Maxis should be doing. QUOTE(d3v073d_50uL @ Apr 4 2013, 03:31 AM) Me in Klang.. also got Binariang XD Hmmm, wonder what's going on? Is this Binariang doing works on Maxis' towers and infrastructure? Or is Maxis having trouble at Internet Exchange point? Edit: Ah.. I just realized.. Even in the old siggy.. the ISP name changed XD |

OMG you guys, I'm so jealous now- using a 4S stuck on DiGi... But anyway, look at what I found here:
![]() But the catch is you have to add-on BlackBerry Internet Service for RM55/month on top of the data package. QUOTE(KaiHD @ Apr 10 2013, 07:54 AM) For those who don't know how to get the carrier update to enable LTE/Visual Voicemail/etc., refer to this link. QUOTE(jovial @ Apr 11 2013, 09:07 AM) I can confirm that two strips of gold is not true. I have a basic sim that is all gold and I am still able to lock onto LTE. I just got the sim from a Maxis Partner, not Maxis Centre. They didn't know nuts about LTE but obliged when I asked them to change my sim. Seriously?! Just ask to change to new SIM la? (Have a Maxis partner near my house) Though what did you say to the Partner? Just say I want to change to the new SIM card? |

QUOTE(anarchy2cruo @ Apr 12 2013, 02:37 PM) i changed to nano sim at maxis on january. do you guys think the sim lte activated or not? btw biz68 here. i put it on ipad mini. have you done the carrier update? if so, check that your carrier (in settings>general>about) says MAXIS 14.1. then reboot. (turn off and on again by holding lock button). after that go to settings>general>cellular. if lte is enabled, the option will be 'enable lte' instead of 'enable 3g'.alternatively, a picture-guide available here to help you enable lte for apple devices. I think what he means is every tower will have network information- if not LTE then DC-HSPA, and so on. You were saying you hoped it was Maxis doing the upgrade- and chuahcs79 told you to check the tower info. (LTE or DC-HSPA has nothing to do with it, at least that's what I understand.)
