imo, ROS is meant to be designed for crusader.
with the core akkhan 6pcs bonus, crusader can unlock many viable builds to play in higher tier. they just need to look for suitable weapons, shields, elemental dmg in ammy, ring & bracer.
for other classes, you can have colorful builds in lower tier; however as we progressing & gearing up toward higher tier, there is only 1-2 viable builds for each classes which is quite boring i admit.
afterall, we should feel THANKFUL if we look back to monk/wizz who are still struggling at higher tier.

Wiz is doing ok at T6.

Monk needs better gears.

After they change to 2.1 means the drop rate woould be lower? or obsolete set?

Your chances to get akkhan set will be lowered in gambling because u have to compete with the roland set.. heard the roland set got very bad reception from community.. not sure though since i not yet tested it..

Watch deadset gaming and see him melt t6 and run grifts with sub optimal rolands... you will change your mind about the set. Give more time and when he has optimal gears, I'm sure he'll tear through grifts.

On to DH discussion, since Cru is the RoS golden child and build around CDR, it automatically enforces that rule on all other classes hence the change to prep. Why are they forcing us to use CDR on T6 build is mind blowing.. most item enchanted required CDR to be slotted in and thats really killing build diversity. Its like a mandatory stat to have CDR on high tiered builds. Monk epiphany, barb leap, DH sentry although not much but still mandatory for t6, cru indefinitely and cru akkhan was build around CDR which made it balanced as it was employed from base design, wiz and wd im not sure. So by doing this and having CDR mandatory to employ new builds, everything goes wrong for blizz and we're stuck with 1 or 2 optimal T6 build depending on class. M6 will stay forever but are they doing anything to create more viable builds.

Upon further testings of legendary gems, it feels underwhelming and forces very weird gameplay.
For example Taeguk is ok on low level, but after a few levels, you spend more resources to get to max charges.
Unless you have spenders with special legendaries (spenders that generates hatred), its really awkward.

Gogok of swiftness also have that same duration problem, but to a lesser extent since youre not tied to some weird spender-generator cycle.

Bane of the trapped is the only one worth using.

Since Im a strafe dh, might also benefit from moratorium and invigorating gemstone, but for now I dont have enough plvl to plow through high grift.

I think thats the goal, but you cant really predict what might happen, cos if they do announce a date, and the date couldnt be met, people are gonna rage hard.Not announcing anything = a lot of wiggle room.

50% gold find cos the new vault should shoot up your average gold per certain hours played by that much, so you dont feel pointless grinding gold now. Doesnt make sense to have a period of void after the gold bonus end and between 2.1 deployment.

I really cant tahan d playing live client when my toon is 2-3 times stronger on ptr.

Current smart loot system also include the soon to be useless poison affix, will get the pundek feeling if get +dmg to poison on legends.

cold with kridershot viable for M6 in 2.1 ?

I have Kridershot.

Just to comment on the bow.
2700+ DPS 2H bow VS 2500+ DPS 2H crossbow.
2500+ DPS 2H crossbow wins in M6 sentry build.
2H crossbow just melts everything way faster than 2H bow.

You really don't need Kridershot. It's really overrated.
I'm looking forward to the cold build though.
