70K HP/ 700+ AR / 4K+ Armor.

That is god mode for me, not ehp mode.

I wonder what's your EHP (let's use D3UP) with such HP/AR/Armor?

Seriously, 555K EHP, many 200K DPS monks have lower EHP than yours.

Honestly speaking, this is not quite true.

DH's gloom -35% damage & -15% GT are so OP.
Not to forget the insane LS% from gloom.

Speaking of damage, 50% buff is more of paper dps.
If you refer to the Ghom@MP10 benchmark that we did, you can see the real damage per second of both monk and dh is quite close.

Those tanky monk & barb have much higher EHP, at least 600K to millions EHP.

In order to tank, DH must use fast weapon like Calamity.
And combo with GT + perma-gloom.
I find DH can really tank too @ MP10.

After all, it is EHP that matters.

As many as you can stack. It's something good to have.
The more the merrier.

Perhaps 2.0 for manticore.
And 3.0 for calamity.

Last I checked, this combo gives a better paper dps for my build.

High CD is certainly welcome. A good thing to have.

As far as paper dps is concerned, marquise ruby + emerald combo on 2-socket manti does give higher dps for my build. I think paper dps does take CD into account.

Yes, if I'm not mistaken, you'd gain 8-10K DPS.

I bought a cheapo 2-slot INT manticore today, my increase by 11K DPS.

eh? Did you try marquise ruby?
It should give you nice dps increase.

I also bought a calamity with socket.
Calamity with marquise ruby is so freaking cool. Awesome damage with bola + excellent survivability (just like using cluster grenades ). Calamity is so so imba.

I didn't do detailed study on this.
I just observe the damage gain from my manti and calamity with marquise ruby.

Calculation is something like this.

Assuming your Manti has 40% damage.
So, you get from marquise ruby, 160 + 40% = 224
Min damage, 894 + 224 = 1118
Max damage, 1247 + 224 = 1471

The dps boost (with ruby) on calamity is way higher than manticore.
And the damage is nice on calamity now.
Plus the fast attack speed & extreme rapid explosion with bola, i just love this now.

P/S Quick test. Ghom @ MP10, took me 1min 40sec (100 seconds). Just bola + echoing blast.
I would have got better score if I slotted in another offensive skill.

P/S Used Andariel's Visage. That tells you I dropped alot of EHP.
However, the survivability is much much better @ MP10 key run. Just very awesome.

Not worth it for your case in terms of DPS/damage output.
This is because your 1075DPS calamity can't beat your 1370DPS Manti.

For my case, i have a 1170DPS calamity and 1183 Manti. Quite similar dps rated weapon.
With ruby, my calamity and manti turn to 1592DPS and 1460DPS respectively.
I can see calamity can have good damage output.

However, you can test it to find out the awesomeness of survivability with calamity, without the marquise ruby.

To sacrifice additional 100% CD or not, I think it's just paper dps.
My concern is the real damage instead of paper dps.
So I used ghom@MP10 as benchmark.

My Manti gives more paper DPS, 211K DPS (took 125 seconds to kill Ghom) .
My Calamity only has 200K DPS (100 seconds to kill Ghom).

But it seems the Calamity can kill a lot faster than my Manti.
Plus, better survivability.
I think it is good replacement.

Marked for death is to mark the enemy or area (depends on which rune you use) so that additional damage taken by the target.

Explosion, it could be skills like spike trap, bola shot or grenades.

It's combination of 2-3 skills.
