For single boss fight you can try switch MS to impale.. Impale have good dps output also... One of the reason why i do physical build...

Impale rune
Impact- 50% stun and knockback... Useful in boss fight.

Grievous wound- crit hit add 130%dmg...more dmg the merrier...

Just finished RoS @ reached Lvl70...any tips / recommendations for a DH?

Currently using cluster arrows though...not sure what are the build/setup.

And also recommendations of places to mass farm for legendaries?

Currently the popular end game T6 build is sentry/pet Mara6 + 2h xbow which gives all your sentries superior firepower (shoot your hatred spenders also) with the elemental flavouring of your choice (fire/physical/lightning/poison).

For starters, go fire as it has the highest single damage output for hatred spending as you don't have your multiple pets/sentries yet. Andy, cindercoat, magefist, SoJ gives you those elements. Serrated arrows decent for fire hatred generator, or Entangling shot: JiS for slowing mobs. For aoe either CA: Loaded for Bear or MS Arsenal. Pick companion wolf/bat and Turret spitfire/guardian. For defense/kiting can use Vault: tumble and Smoke screen: healing vapors. You will feel squishy at this point till you get Mara4.

Later on once you have Marauder 4 piece (3 if you on RoRG) thats where the pet fun starts(unlock to use all pet abilities); 6 piece is where your sentries start firing your hatred spenders. You are still squishy but GG. Good luck thumbup.gif Disclaimer: this is just one playstyle, there is melee knifer; strafe rocketman and other builds out there, so experiment and see what's yours.

Best place to farm legendaries? Rifting at high Torment. All leg drops are RNG except for bounty cache specific items like RoRG.

unable to get any gud xbows.. when i get krider, buriza dmg only 2000 - 2200 with +dam, or missing dex...
Unable to reroll to get better dam.

Atm using arcane barb with +10, profile only shows 2379 dam, but in game 2500+.

now looking for marauder helm or glove, tnt, bombadier.

Kinda like my current setup with pets, Danetta and Fan of Knives. Still looking for that elusive RRoG and Kridershot.

Can check out your build on fan of knifes? Have the belt so need to go figure.

Am looking forward for Chanon Bolter, Windforce and Calamity to complete my full bow collection. sweat.gif The hardest part of the collection.

For survival-bility Perfectionist and awareness are staples and almost perma slot at high torment. Popular passives are blood vengeance, steady aim (good in groups), cull the weak (if you running slow attacks), custom engineering, ballistics, ambush (for solo), tactical advantage.

RNG = random number generator; meaning total random drop anywhere, anytime
RoRG = ring of royal grandeur, one of the most wanted ring in game

Yeap, bounties will reset after you exit game, basically farm rift key fragments so you can unlock rift mode.

Sharpshooter is kinda useless though, esp if u have atleast 40-50% crit chance

(Balanced between atk & def)
Archery, Perfectionist, Steady Aim, Nightstalker

(All out attack)
Archery, Steady Aim, Cull of the Weak(recommended if u use Entangling Shot as primary skill), Ballistic(if u use Sentry couple with a other rockets skill like)

but yeah the All out attack i listed above depend on ur setup/gear/playing style

Tactical Advantage is a must-have for me.

Moving faster gives you higher dps because you waste less time between packs.

It also improves your ability to position yourself, which can lead to better dps and survivability.

If using 1h bow, sharpshooter is better than archery.

Hi all,

I am a new demon hunter who just got the M6 bonus. Here is my profile:

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Zooch-6759/hero/36253304

I would love to know what I can do to improve my DH. I know the weapon is so-so ad I have an arcane barb with 25xx weapon damage. But I prefer this bow since the difference in aspd is huge (1.51 vs 1.91).

I am also considering gambling for a chest piece and opening up the glove slot for my 10% cc magefist or the boots or helm for a second piece Natalya's. Is this a good idea?

Any help would be appreciated.

My opinion and recommendation; perhaps other sifus could give better advice. Immediate upgrade:

1. Helm reroll vit to +15% cluster arrows; assuming CA + sentries is your main dmg output
2. Reroll shoulders vit to +15% sentries also
3. You vit 500k hp generally high (some DH run with 300-400k hp) so if can roll your rucksack vit to +15% sentries (tough roll koz quiver can roll any skills)
4. Swap in 2 or 3 diamonds for pants/chest ... so you can live with lower hp.
5. try 2h xbow; the dmg range is smaller so your sentries will consistently hit harder

Things to get/aim for:
1. SoJ with Fire + crit chance/crit dmg
2. Quadfecta neck - Fire, crit cc, cdm, dex/ats.
3. Cindercoat with +15% sentries w 3 sockets
4. Look for trifecta mara gloves dex, cc, cdm, ats
5. Maybe a better shoulders with dex, vit, +15% sentries, cdr or AR

And GG thumbup.gif

From a glance, a quick booster will be upgrading all the gems bro for additional 300 dex.... Other upgrades will depends on your play style...

For me... For Sentry build.

Buff companion skill- cause they are there most of the time.. Folllow you every where.. Instant dmg done when spoted mobs. These little guy can help you do dmg.. Wolf, 2 ferret, bat, raven, boar, spider and raven.. My pet can peck from 2m - 5m max crit dmg each. (not from harrington buff).. Not much but at fast speed it can take down a single elite in few sec.

Buff Cluster Arrow- this is your main damage dealer.. No other hatred spender skill is higher then this... So buff them.. This is no brainer.

Reduce Cool down- for sentry this is important to cast them out faster, even 1 sec fast can kill alot of thing.. Choose CDR instead of ias.. Credit to wKkaY on this for open my eye on this.

BTW nat slayer drop for me last night.. Not as epic but have 10% dmg on both brows.gif
Still looking for 10%dmg 2H xbow... Really hard this one..
