from what i understand , the action was advised by lawyer , maybe the report is toward those sellers misleading and skmm lodged for max1s condoning as they were told in their forum months ago about b1z selling activity but never react accordingly , so this is considered the act of condone

If anyone file a police report ~ nobody wins as maxis is protected by its T&C which the users was suppose to have signed, and these will bring in another set of problems where Biz Ayam din not sign any agreement too.

So maxis will or might terminate this case/s and lose some customers and also bring this case into the open which any telco would like to avoid.

We will see how maxis handle from there. Its gonna be messy and some heads will roll.....

The bandwidth congestion excuses that telcos give are mostly exagerated rants to increase their profits. Some news that clarifies some truth:

Cable Industry Finally Admits Caps Not About Congestion

Point 1:
Cable operators also paid countless think tanks, consultants and fauxcademics to spin scary yarns about a looming network congestion "exaflood," only averted if cable operators were allowed to raise rates, impose caps, eliminate regulation or (insert pretty much anything here).

Point 2:
It only took the better part of a decade, but the cable industry has apparently realized they can no longer pretend that caps are really about congestion. Speaking at a meeting this week, former FCC boss turned top cable lobbyist Michael Powell finally acknowledged caps weren't about congestion, though he did continue pushing the myth that caps are about "fairness"

If usage caps were about "fairness," carriers would offer the nation's grandmothers a $5-$15 a month tier that accurately reflected her twice weekly, several megabyte browsing of the Weather Channel website.
Instead, what we most often see are low caps and high overages layered on top of already high existing flat rate pricing, raising rates for all users.

Comment: Did you know that if telcos get away by undoing true UNLIMITED plans undirectly gives them the greenlight to raise subscriber fees?

Does raising rates on a product that already sees 90% profit margins sound like "fairness" to you?

Point 3:
Another favorite industry argument is that providing broadband is so expensive for a carrier, the flat rate pricing model simply isn't sustainable, but that's also debunked if you eyeball quarterly earnings from any of the major broadband players.

Comment: How come telcos are still reporting fat revenue margins every quarter until now? Maxis and TM still reported revenues over a billion for 2012??

What the industry's really doing is using the benefit of uncompetitive markets to price gouge customers..

i dunno how severe of condoning in multimedia regulations but my previous company was lost few 10k due to dismissed an engineer w/o solid reason , the company lost due to condoning ( never take action on previous misconduct but last-last decided to take action pulak , meaning u tutup one eye for his previous tardiness issue , no action taken but lastly decided to charge him on his latest absent )

so in this case , max1s is aware of b1z selling i presumed ( got hypocrite told them in forum oledi monthd ago ) but still keep accepting new applicants ... u know i know la

When this fiasco is open up and reported by the papers, a combination of these scenario might happen , among them are

1) Maxis will terminate the accounts

2) The sellers will be haul up , legal action will be used upon him as they have committed a "crime" with falsifying the documents.

3) Less Biz Ayam users hogging the bandwidth, hence better connection and less congestion.

4) More users will butthurt and rant here.

5) Other Telcos will offer better plans to lure those ex Biz Ayam users to sign up.

Ii i have offended anyone by using the term Biz Ayam, pls forgive me as this was the term used previously by others, i am just a copy cat .
