Actually that's not entirely true. I'm using huawei e5756 (dc-hspa) and it lasts about approx 10 hours for continuous use. It can last way longer if standby time is included. Can also be used as a powerbank :- http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/prod...eeId=3619&tab=0

Now this is an interesting device, you mean 10 hours continuous usage? Seriously?

The specification stated 5 hours only, what is the mAh of the battery?

My past E587 last < 4 hours

Yup seriously. I'm overseas now and i've been using it on and off since yesterday morning from malaysia, and battery is still about 50% (based on 2 out of 4 bars). It does state 10 hours la at the page i linked in my previous post, not 5 hours. notworthy.gif

I also used to use e586e and that one the battery is similar to yours, which lasts only about 4 hours. I think that e5756 is the newer version of huawei mifi's, going to replace the e587 since the specs and price are almost similar.

The battery is 3000mah. However the battery is non removable by ourselves and probably need to remove at the shop. Unlike the e586 or e587 which can remove by our self.

Really useful for overseas trips or any day trip. Just bought a singtel 3 days internet pass and use it on my modem. Anyways without getting ot, here's a link to my thread asking about Singapore mobile bb and some speedtests :- http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2695430

I can't find about battery life on the page, cant load the page properly. sweat.gif
PS got it, the large image takes a while to load on Malaysia bad Internet routing

Well, seem like this new range of device is promising, I might need one.

Yes, I did see your Singtel speedtest which is sweet considering for a MiFi. notworthy.gif

If you have watched HD stuff on a big screen LCD TV, you won't knoe what you have missed all these while................... smile.gif

Using Maxis to download HD material is a pain cause each full HD quality shows will eat up your quota in no time if you are on Limited Quota.

I am not helping Astro to promote his stuff, but i can say that Astro Byond DVR is a marvel with its built-in HDD. You can even do the recording when you are away from your home to view it when you are back thumbup.gif

p/s any Running Man fans here tongue.gif
