I meant the Samsung phones from 5 years ago.

Man, that screen reminds me of the Phoenixtool for flashing Nokia roms. Used it a couple of times to "root" my N8. Left a bad aftertaste.

Ya , even flashing Symbian or Meego is not so complicated . And the stupid thing is to install an app , u have to flash it in rclxub.gif Even crapple is not so protective . Word is , Samsung is now bringing Tizen into their phone line starting this year to replace Android for most of it's devices .

Tizen is what Maemo was to become wasn't it? Some joint venture between Intel and Nokia originally, then I think the Linux Foundation has a hand in it.

Supposedly Open Sourced, but then Samsung will need to release Tizen "TOSP". We can only wonder if they will do it.

hahhahaha...it not gone actually, it seems that the settings for TA 2.60 are not remove after I downgraded to 2.37. TA 2.60 will disable SuperSU for 5 mins after a reboot... laugh.gif

Orange Backup did not install it's own recovery but a system app called onandroid into system/app folder. what I suspected that could have change the system status to Modified is the Busybox application being detected by the OS.

IINM, Tizen, Jolla, Meltemi are the descendants of Maemo.

I think it was first Moblin -> Maemo -> Meego -> offspring.

All because Nokia had too many kingdoms. If Maemo was done properly, I don't think Android would be where it is today, and crapple would have had a good fight on its hands. Sigh...

Maybe you need a reboot for TA2.60 to do its magic now?

just hope "it"(whatever it ends up to be tongue.gif) comes out soon. Would like to see a nice low resource usage OS like Symbian but comparable to android kind of OS to come out which Nokia can use for their Asha line of smarter phones....

That's cool. Was it Normal after the MA5 flash? Or was it some mumbo-jumbo you did before that?

I never noticed any yellow tint cool2.gif smile.gif

If you read the descriptions, and also look at the threads carefully, you will notice that Note2 Dev has all the custom roms based on stock.
Note 2 Original Android is, well, ORIGINAL stuff not based on stock, eg AOSP, AOKP, some fancy source built kernels etc.

Stay with stock for a while, current favourite here seems to be ROMOW. If you want the "pure Google experience" then try some AOSP based roms.
