Flash through Mobile Odin Pro can choose not to remove rooting.
So rooting is still intact.

*
hmmm, I see... but I intend to do a nandroid back up.... should I back up with or without root? lol...
I mean what is the recommended way of doing this backup... if it should be a non-rooted backup I will flash with pc odin then back it up else, might just use mobile odin.

Also Ms fruitie.... what is the recommended dslr camera bag ar? my gears are a body, 2 lenses, flash gun and some small tiny tiny accessories... any recommended brand? or...?
I'm looking at vanguard uprise 34 priced at 200+, reasonable? or do you have a better recommendation?
thanks ya, and sorry for the out of topic =.=

Nandroid backup can only be done if you have CWM Recovery
*
QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 16 2013, 04:10 PM)
You should start exploring here. biggrin.gif
There are many gems around. brows.gif
Yes, recommended to do back up first. smile.gif
Nandroid is using CWM.

sweat.gif Asked DSLR stuffs here. sweat.gif I'm using Lowepro Fastpack 350 because I have more gears and easier if I want to upgrade by adding more gears.
Vanguard is a reputable brand, so you won't go wrong with this brand. biggrin.gif
*
yeah, I have CWM with me, I think I will do a nandroid backup before flashing to 4.1.2, how about EFS back up?

alright, I shall bring the DSLR stuff to you on PM should I need further assistance k? thanks for your big help, my highness fruitie! lol!

not really 9 months bah, need to know when s4 release 1st

yet, I really don't think note 3 will come with exynos 5 octa since no device using exynos 5 quad yet
and it will follow what the processor using on s4, just higher processor speed only
so normally using exynos 5 quad, off course anything can happen

btw the new note 2 colour looks nice

love the pink 1 wub.gif

When I was using perseus 31.2, I got no problems with it, the kernel is smooth, no lag, no reboots, everything was ok. I went back to stock just because I hate to see my status changed to Modified. Overall perseus kernel and stock kernel are much the same. I don't OC or UV so better off with stock.

never swap memory? 10gb enough for you?

For those who don't want to do the swap thing, GLtoSD is a good choice, allows the same end result.
*
GLtoSD, what does it works? can it still remain in stock rom and kernel?
is it like directory bind?

"what does it do"

Yes it can be used on stock rom and kernel. I'm using the same. I did not go into the details but I suppose it operates on a similar concept.
*
Lol, sorry I just realise the mistake, I wanna say "how does it works" instead...

anyway, will google for more info then. thanks!

I'm afraid if accidentally scratched my screen instead. tongue.gif
Luckily now no more scratch. I think I was just being paranoid, I hope so. laugh.gif
The casing looks so nice, the one Noobi3 is bulking. Will it be too extreme for a female? hmm.gif
Got my Jan salary last Thursday, and was thinking of this thing. tongue.gif

Sygic so far has not given me any problems yet but Google Map did....once it brought me in a middle of no where, where I can only see big trees on both sides of the road and that time it was 3 am (what a scary moment) mad.gif . My point is, there no perfect apps, each of them has their own pros and cons.
*
guess what, my papago brought me to a nearby grave yard beside the road, and the road is so small that only one car can go through at one time and it's not even tarred =.=!

and the best part is, there's an end to the road, I have to cross the river, but there's no road there anymore, and graveyard beside me.... luckily I was with a friend and that time was about 7pm, it's getting dark... omg, don't want to imagine or recall back that anymore!!! sweat.gif
