for me, the 1080p rip is not even close to the real blu ray 1080p quality but better than Astro Byond HD though.

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jan 16 2013, 12:16 AM) why rooting is so troublesome on GNote 2 What do you mean by so troublesome ? why they create new boot loader? do you guys really reset the flash counter each time you flash a custom ROM? why they changed the bootloader ? I am not really know why. That is why I maintain the old bootloader but flashed only the new firmware. yes I always reset the counter after I flash any custom kernels. |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jan 16 2013, 12:34 AM) So you updated your device to 4.1.2 via Mobile Odin? Yes I updated to 4.1.2 by using Mobile Odin Pro.By the way, the only way to remove the flash counter is via the $2.49 Triangle Away app by Chainfire? With the new bootloader you can't reset the counter with Triangle Away as Samsung managed to prevent this. Must wait for Chainfire to find a way to overcome this problem. What I can suggest to you is to flash back to 4.1.1 (wipe everything clean) then root it by using ExynosABuse then update 4.1.2 by using Mobile Odin Pro. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 16 2013, 12:36 AM) I'm wondering...even though you have used MOP, would flashing the rom (u used the full tar file rite) have also by default flashed in the bootloader as well? Unless you remove the bootloader.img from the tar ? I never flash any custom roms only perseus kernel as I find the stock rom very stable for me. MOP does not have the option to flash the bootloader. sboot.bin is the file name for the bootloader if extract from the tar file. This post has been edited by tot31: Jan 16 2013, 12:43 AM |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jan 16 2013, 12:43 AM) That means flashing the latest deodex pre-rooted LL7 firmware will also include the latest bootloader yes.what happens if you do not reset the flash counter? assuming that you do not need to visit the service center la nothing will happen. if you don't need to send your phone to the service center or does not care much about the warranty then you should not worry. the only reason that I can think of why Samsung changed the bootloader is to prevent us, the users to reset the flash counter. |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jan 16 2013, 12:53 AM) Ohh.. this I didn't know. It is worth the purchase, but Triangle Away does have a free version. If you are a xda member, you can download it there but the free version does has a limitation though.Either way you'll need to purchase the Triangle Away app assuming chainfire updates it for new bootloader |
