Hey, screen power saving in Power saving menu should be decrease the frame rate and increase the battery life right?
I faced a problem that when I turn it off in Power saving menu and I lock and unlock my phone, my phone lag as it is like the screen power saving doesnt turn off completely.

Yeah, rebooted and the problem still there. I wonder what is the cause of this issue, it is there when I on 4.1.1 and now im on wanamlite 4.1.2

Did you perform a fullwipe when you flashed your new rom?

Yup, full wipe is done every time I root a new rom..

Could be a rom issue. You could lurk in the xda wanamlite forums and see what others report.

it's been a while i flashed custom rom, with my desire hd & galaxy tab 7.7, couldn't really recall what would be the 1st step if everything is from stock, problem is i couldn't let go my note to root, as my fav game LINE POP will not work on rooted device.

on the other hand, do we need to root 1st in order to install recovery? which recovery should i opted for? TWRP? the tradition CWM? or those CWM touch ones? can the rooting process go through mobile ODIN instead of PC ODIN, because I'm using MAC. I think I'll stop my questions here, & I'll shall post my further inquiries once I reach this step. LOL. Sorry for lengthy post. Please advise me ya..

My fav recovery would be Twrp because some other version of cwm would get aroma freeze when trying to flash custom rom.

i get aroma freeze too on twrp..

You can get LINE POP with root checker removed on xda (google it) but it's not the latest version though.

You don't need to be rooted to install custom recovery and TWRP is definitely better than CWM.

Guys how long for first time charge?

So far my phone is rooted with stock recovery. you can always root using CF Auto Root by Chainfire if you are already updated to 4.1.2. If you still on 4.1.1, the easiest route would be using the ExynosAbuse from Chainfire too. Then you can update to 4.1.2 using Mobile Odin. By this way your old bootloader will be preserved if you are concern about warranty as you can reset the counter by using Triangle Away.

Sorry , I never get aroma freeze on twrp before, thats why I assume that twrp is stable.

it depends on the percentage of your battery. When I first got my phone it was like 50%, so it will take about an hour like that. You don't need 8 hrs to charge because the Lithium Ion batteries are different than NiMH.

The original charger does approx 30% per hour. That's using my old Nokia cable.

may i ask how old are you?people show battery usage your business?whatever dispute or your own case,why suddenly bring it here?people do everything their own choice,you busybody do what?

You must download the firmware before hand prior on using the Mobile Odin. Just a head up in case you forget. If you are using a custom recovery, you can't set your status to Normal in the system. If that is not your concern then just go ahead.
