Hi guys,

i received a call earlier from Huawei, though i did not apply for any of the jobs but i was told they found my CV in Jobstreet. Can anyone shed some light on the below mail i received ?i saw the words global, does it indicates that this position needs frequent travel ?

Responsibilities: Pre-Sales Product Engineer

•Responsible to support global bidding projects, analyze customer bid documents (RFI/RFP/RFQ) to identify the needs and design the cost effective innovative solution.
•Respond to RFI/RFP/RFQ including network design & network dimensioning, technical proposal and technical specifications by operator.
•Understand Huawei product features and specifications in order to address technical requirements by operator.
•Interacting and coordinating with Network Design Engineers to optimize the networking solution.
•Responsible for staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors

Hi, huawei singapore just called me and scheduled me for an interview tomorrow morning for the data center / network engineer position based on Malaysia. But this will only be a phone conversation cause I am currently working in the Philippines. Do you have any idea if this will be a technical or HR interview? This will be my first interview just in case..

Added on November 24, 2011, 8:30 pmJust to add..How much is the salary range for a 2-yr experienced network engineer in Malaysia?

your situation and position offered, it is same with me. then, on 21st nov yesterday, I've already have the 1st interview with the technical person-in-charge, then at the next day, he told me that I've passed the interview and then the 2nd interview will be around next week, but they didn't confirm the specific date yet. now, am still waiting for their calls.

for the 1st interview, it is really technical, then candidates must to study about the WiMAX, CDMA, UMTS and everything that state on the advertisement because he asked me about the WiMAX freq range, the differentiation between those telco system and so on. But, for me the interview session was nice and I feel not to nervous, it kind of more relax. laugh.gif

Hi I had my 3rd interview with director on last week.
but i wonder why he asked me to wait for 2 weeks but my friend interview on the same day just need to wait for one week. haha
is that mean that my % to get the job is lower?  =P

anyway, may i know is it a hard job for Global Technical Service? haha   anyone here can give any comment or advice?

Congratulation to those who have receive the offer letter.. Do go thru the details before you sign the agreement.

And for those who are still waiting.. Good Luck. Do give them a call to check out ur application status. Prefer call them than email them..

Job Camp for 2 weeks? That pretty long.. Do share out the details once the camp is over as I have never attend such training before.

Any doubt questions, do PM me.
